Ghost Snapped on Set of ‘Arang and the Magistrate’ Alarms Production Crew
Though MBC’s Arang and the Magistrate may feature ghosts in its storyline, could it be the set is being visited by real spirits from the other world?
During the August 8 airing of the Arang and the Magistrate preview special, How to Enjoy Arang and the Magistrate 100 Times More, a scene featuring actor Han Jung Soo as the grim reaper in the drama was shown being filmed at night.
However, while reviewing the pictures one of the staff photographers had shot, the staff became alarmed at one picture of Han Jung Soo which showed an unrecognizable, blurry and face-like looking object behind the actor.
The shocked staff members could be seen huddled around the camera and exclaiming things like, “Look, see? That’s his hair and that’s a ghost. It’s a real ghost!”
Though not on set when the ghostly picture was snapped, Lee Joon Gi expressed his surprise and happiness at the news saying, “Whether shooting a production or recording an album, they say if you hear or see a ghost [whatever you’re working on] will become daebak. I actually felt happy when I heard that a ghost had been snapped,” referencing a common Korean superstition.
The first episode of Arang and the Magistrate will air on August 15.
