Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young slam divorce rumors

Actress Son Tae Young is preparing to take legal action against netizens who had spread malicious rumors that she was going to get a divorce with Kwon Sang Woo.
On behalf of Son Tae Young, her management agency said on the 23rd, "There have been some pretty weird rumors going around on various blogs that Son Tae Young and Kwon Sang Woo would be getting a divorce, and has left her (Son Tae Young) severely perplexed. But nothing like that is true and we have not entrusted the cyber investigation squad to track down the offenders yet. We have only enquired from the police about the steps we should take. There are no concrete plans yet in place and we will only be making a decision when Kwon Sang Woo is back in Korea."

There have been many postings recently on various blogs that Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young were getting a divorce and the term "Son Tae Young divorces" has been a hotly searched term, with many netizens highly curious about it. The initial rumor only started with that there were differences between Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young and they might be getting divorced. It soon snowballed and got more ridiculous, as netizens started weaving their own fantasy script, saying that Kwon Sang Woo had asked for DNA tests and discovered that Luke Kwon wasn't his own blood.
Son Tae Young's management added, "From what we know, the weird rumors started spreading a month ago through blogs. We understand that tracking down the offenders who had spread the rumors isn't an easy task, but we have been working with ISPs to remove the offending content before we will take any further action. There are no problems between Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young. They are just busy individually with their own business (TEA’US) and drama (2 Wives) respectively."

Kwon Sang Woo had been away in America preparing for his Hollywood debut and it was supposed to be a secret. He did not want to reveal it until it was 100% confirmed but with things as it is, he had no other alternative. He said, "I can tolerate if the rumor only affects me. But I have to take action now because it involves my wife and son. I will definitely hunt down the offenders who spread the rumors when I return to Korea."
Having gotten married on 28th September last year, the couple are planning on a photoshoot together with son, Luke Kwon to commemorate their 1st year anniversary, and will seek to show everyone that they are living happily to squash this rumor.

Top Star Kwon Sang Woo will be in the Hollywood project

Korean topstar Kwon Sang-woo is staying in LA to have the final meetings with a major film studios. The meetings is in strict secrecy.
Kwon received several offers this year and is scheduling to sign contract this year fall. The new project will start shooting early next year. According to a close source, it is a hero character in a Hollywood masterpiece.
Kwon departed for US on July 15 and is working with the famous French director Michel Gondry who is working up a masterpiece starring actress Cameron Diaz.
Director Michel (May 8, 1963) is a famous film director and producer. His famous projects are very well known such as Human Nature, Eternal Sunshine of The Sportless Mind, The Science of Sleep ... and so on. He also directed for music video of Björk, Rolling Stones, Beck ...
The current film work will be a super project that have a crush on Kwon Sang-woo, and the significant positive response to his appearance should have been.

Kwon Sang Woo in legal trouble

Hallyu star, Kwon Sang Woo was served with a lawsuit today, for failing to properly comply with conditions signed on a contract with a publishing company.
According to the Seoul Central Court on the 20th, Code N Associates have claimed that Kwon Sang Woo did not give his fullest assistance, despite signing a contract with them to release a picture book back in 2005. They are asking to be compensated with 30 billion KRW for damages caused to the company.
The company claims that, "Kwon Sang Woo signed a contract with us in August 2005 to release a picture book. But he didn't turn up for the scheduled filming for 3 times and didn't help by not giving us his childhood photos, and personal art drawings, which delayed the publishing timeframe. Adding insult to injury, Kwon Sang Woo then signed a contract with a Japanese company to release a similar themed picture book in 2006, severely devaluing the worth and value of our picture book. Finally, compared to other hallyu stars, the sales of Kwon Sang Woo's picture book was very poor."
Kwon Sang Woo's agency said, "It's pretty ridiculous on their part to say that we did not adhere to the contract terms. We did our very best to arrange for reshoots and we thought everything had already been solved amicably back then. We aren't really sure why they are bringing this matter up again. We will be filing a counter lawsuit."
Poor Kwon Sang Woo. Apart from being happily married to actress Son Tae Young and a baby son, Luke, Kwon Sang Woo's career hasn't been really smooth sailing in recent times. His dramas, Bad Love and Cinderella Man have had poor ratings, his Hollywood dream was extinguished recently and now this lawsuit.
Hope his luck changes for the better soon. At least, he still has his business venture, Tea'us to fall back on.

“Who resembles who more?"
That seems to be the question on people’s mind lately as stars have become more open about sharing pictures of their offspring with the public. How times have changed! Remember 5 years ago when stars cried “invasion of privacy,” when photos of their wedded life or children leaked to the press?
Lately, stars have been using various outlets to share their “bundle of joy” with the world through pictures on their minihompies, appearances together on variety shows, and glamourized photo shoots for magazines. Comedians Oh Ji Hyun and Park Kyung Lim, talents Seo Min Jung and Baek Do Bin are some of the celebrities that shared pictures of their babies on line when they were first born.
Other celebrities who’ve recently received attention for their offspring are power couple, Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young, who posed in a fashion spread for W with their son Luke, and Lee Seung Yeon, who introduced her baby daughter to the world through her show Super Mom Diary.
However, not all stars are eager to share their babies with the world. Some celebrities, including couple Kim Seung Woo and Kim Nam Joo, and Jeon Do Yeon, have yet to share pictures of their newborns with the world.

Kwon Sang Woo sent to the hospital
On February 4th, popular actor Kwon Sang Woo was sent to the hospital after being injured on set during the filming of a scene for the movie Into the Gunfire.
Kwon Sang Woo injured himself during a scene where he was rolling on the ground together with Big Bang’s TOP to avoid enemy gunfire. His right cheek bone hit the ground hard and he had immediate swelling on his face, this caused concern and he was sent to the hospital.
Kwon Sang Woo also complained about pains in his teeth and he visited a dentist where they gave him some X-rays. A representative of Kwon Sang Woo said, “The injuries aren’t too serious, he’s doing well. Filming for the movie should resume soon.”
Hopefully he’ll recover fully soon but they’ll probably have to wait for the swelling to go down a bit before they start filming again.

Kwon Sang Woo goes to the gym with his son

Pictures of actor Kwon Sang Woo and his son Kwon Luke enjoying a day at the gym has been gaining a lot of attention from netizens after it surfaced on the web.
Son Tae Young, Kwon Sang Woo’s wife and actress, uploaded these pictures on her minihompy.
She titled them, “If Luke wants to be like daddy.” People have been aw-ing at the fact that Kwon Sang Woo is wearing the same jersey as his son.
His son, who is rather tiny standing next to his father, looks rather adorable in his version of the shirt. Son Tae Young said, “These days, daddy is busy because he’s filming a movie so he can’t play too much with the Luke he loves. But he comes out of nowhere to please Luke.”
I really think Son Tae Young couldn’t be happier and she definitely shows that off. Netizens commented, “They seem so close,” “Couple jerseys are so cute,” and “Luke is like daddy.”
