“Superman Returns” has revealed plans to donate all of the profits from their upcoming photobook.
The producers from the KBS2 hit variety show announced that they plan to make a photobook from photos taken during the two night three day Jeju Island trip the four families participated in.
Pictures will include Song Il Gook and his triplets, Chu Sung Hoon and his daughter Chu Sarang, Lee Hwi Jae and his twins, and Uhm Tae Woong and his daughter Uhm Ji On. The photobook is intended to be published in mid-June.
Meanwhile, the Jeju Island trip is the first trip all four families have taken together since Uhm Tae Woong and Uhm Ji On joined the show.
“Superman Returns” Ranks First in Viewer Ratings for 44 Weeks in a Row
KBS’ child-rearing variety program “Superman Returns” has continued to prove its immense popularity through viewer ratings for 44 weeks in a row!
According to Nielsen Korea, the most recent broadcast of “Superman Returns” on May 3 recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 14.9%, taking charge of the top spot during its time slot. With this latest ranking, the show has maintained its position at number one for 11 months running.
The episode that aired on May 3 followed all four of the families on their trip to Jeju Island. Dads Chu Sung Hoon, Lee Hwi Jae, Song Il Gook, and Uhm Tae Woong took their children to an art museum and held a photo shoot.
Meanwhile, other programs in the same time slot, including MBC’s “King of Mask Singer” and SBS’ “Take Care of My Dad” recorded 9.6% and 5.4% in viewer ratings, respectively.
Seo Eon and Seo Joon Show They Are the Perfect Pair of Companions

On the episode of KBS 2TV’s “Superman Returns” that aired on April 12, Seo Eon and Seo Joon show viewers that they are like two peas in a pod.
While Lee Hwi Jae is preparing their meal, the two idly wait at the table. Out of boredom, Seo Joon points his finger at his brother and acts as if he is shooting him. In response, Seo Eon readily leans back and acts as if he has been shot. The two constantly giggle at their little joke, going back and forth at shooting each other. They even start singing, collaborating on a pre-meal dance.
The twins also show their compassion for each other as Seo Joon starts tearing up in hunger. When he starts whining for his dad, Seo Eon follows along in consideration of his hungry brother.
Seo Eon and Seo Joon Twins Become Taste Testers on “Superman Returns”
Twins Seo Eon and Seo Joon get a chance to taste their father’s cooking.
On the episode airing April 12, Lee Hwi Jae visits the house of chef Raymond Kim and his wife Kim Ji Woo in order to prepare a housewarming party in his new home.
The twin’s father decides to make his own food for the event, but this is an impossible mission for someone nicknamed “cooking terrorist.” He discusses this dilemma with his neighbor and close friend, Kim Ji Woo, who then suggests getting help from her husband, chef Raymond Kim.
But when Raymond Kim witnesses Lee Hwi Jae’s poor cutting skills, he is at a loss for words.
Somehow Lee Hwi Jae finally manages to whip up his own version of a tomato sauce. Seo Eon’s eyes light up and he starts tasting his father’s food. His eyebrows twitch and his head tips from side to side.

“Superman Returns” Families Travel to Jeju Island Together
All four families appearing on KBS2TV’s “Superman Returns” will be taking a trip to one of Korea’s favorite vacation spots, Jeju Island.
According to TV Report, the families left for Jeju Island earlier today (April 2). Some lucky fans were able to spot the triplets and Chu Sarang at the airport, and photos of the adorable youngsters have since been posted online.
The cast consists of Lee Hwi Jae and his sons Seo Eon and Seo Jun, Song Il Gook and his triplets Dae Han, Min Gook, and Man Se, Chu Sung Hoon and his daughter Chu Sarang, and Uhm Tae Woong and his daughter Uhm Ji On.
Meanwhile, “Superman Returns” continues to attract the most viewers out of Sunday variety shows. Last week’s episode recorded viewership ratings of 15.9 percent, marking its 39th week as the leader in the Sunday afternoon time slot.
Seo Joon Sulks When Dae Han Gets Annoyed with Him on “Superman Returns”
Though there is no doubt that Dae Han is an angel, he showed viewers that he knows how to say no when needed.
On the episode of KBS 2TV’s “Superman Returns” aired on March 22, the triplets and twins get together for the triplets’ birthday party.
Lee Hwi Jae prepares rice cakes and brings barley tea to go along. Despite the fact that there are five cups, Seo Joon pushes his cup away and tries to take Dae Han’s instead. Slightly annoyed, Dae Han says, “This is mine,” in an adorably irritated voice.
Seo Joon immediately sulks as he puts on a gloomy expression. Lee Hwi Jae laughs out loud as he compliments Dae Han by saying, “Good job.”
Meanwhile, Lee Hwi Jae gives the triplets their favorite dinosaur doll as a birthday present. However, even before he is able to pass it into their hands,Man Se cries because he finds it scary.
“Superman Returns” Triplets and Twins Have a Birthday Party
The Song Triplets (Dae Han, Min Gook, and Man Se) and Lee Twins (Seo Eon and Seo Joon) enjoy a special joint birthday party on “Superman Returns.”
The upcoming 70th episode will show the triplets and twins celebrating their birthdays together as they were born exactly one year and one day apart.
Their fathers Song Il Gook and Lee Hwi Jae make efforts to make the birthday celebration special since the five toddlers are celebrating together for the first time. Viewers are curious as to whether the party will go as planned considering that five children can be quite a handful.
Delicious birthday cake proves to be a winner amongst the five boys. In unison they say, “Please give us cake! Cake!” Their cute demands ends up tormenting their fathers as they continue their requests saying, “Please cut the cake!” after the candles are blown out. Having to cater to five children results in headaches for the fathers and causes Lee Hwi Jae to ask, “Can we just feed them instead?”
On their special day, the boys also wear matching clothes and take photos to commemorate the occasion. In an effort to keep the boys in one place the fathers turn on a cartoon movie. Unfortunately, the kids keep taking turns in trying to escape. Song Il Gook even breaks a sweat over the babysitting ordeal.

Man Se Is a True Gentleman as He Takes Care of the Twins on “Superman Returns”
Man Se is a true gentleman as he takes care of Lee Hwi Jae’s twins on the most recent episode of “Superman Returns.”
On the episode of KBS2’s variety show “Superman Returns” aired on March 15, Lee Hwi Jae’s twins and Song Il Gook’s triplets get together to celebrate a birthday party.
After Song Il Gook asks Lee Hwi Jae if he is familiar with bicycles, the dads decide to take their sons out for a ride.
At first, twins Seo Joon and Seo Eon are confused by the linked bicycles since this is their first time riding them. The more experienced triplets decide to help them out by fixing the twins’ helmets and leading the way.
When Seo Joon unknowingly drops his blanket and gets ready to depart, Man Se runs to him with the blanket in his hand.
He says, “Blankie, blankie,” and covers Seo Joon with the blanket while making sure that he is properly covered.
“Superman Returns” Triplets and Twins Reunite for a Bromance
KBS 2TV’s “Superman Returns” will feature the Song Triplets reuniting with the Lee twins at the twins’ new home in their upcoming episode. Having moved recently, Lee Hwi Jae invites Song Il Gook and his sons Dae Han, Min Gook, and Man Se to his house.
The triplets and twins’ birthdays are one day apart. The Song triplets were born on March 16, 2012 while the Lee Seo Jun and Lee Seo Eon were born on March 15, 2013. They are a year and a day apart in age. Thus the visit is a birthday party and housewarming party in one.
The playful pranksters of each family, Seo Jun and Man Se, enjoy a noodle fight. Their fight didn’t last long as they became closer and took care of each other. Apparently, Seo Jun kept looking for Man Se and made sure Man Se was alright during the filming. While the children all got along, it appears as though Man Se and Seo Jun enjoyed a special bromance.
