Shimmy, I tried your recipe.  Very sedap!  My husband siap cakap macam bau Raya.     The only thing, your recipe makes sikit sangat brownies.  For my family of 4 (me, hubby and 2 sons - 11 & 5 years old) definetely not enough.  

Second time I bake brownies tu, I double up everything.  Still habis licin within one day!

My Chewy Gooey Yummy Brownies

Semalam lindt buat brownies ni, resepi 1mas2ra.  
1st time buat.  Dulu dah try resepi brownies kak mas yg lagi 1 tu.
Mmmm...chewy...  Sedaaaapppp sangat.  Tq kak mas, sbb sudi share resepi ni.
Lindt buat 1/2 adunan saja (+ almond).  Tak buat topping.
My doter suruh buat lagi utk b'day dia next week.

nak tanya laa...

masa potong petak2 tu nak kasik cantik...potong guna acuan yg memang khas ke atau potong sesuka hati dgn pisau?   

satu lagi....masa potong tgh panas atau masa udah sejuk?

kalau ganti gula perang dgn castor aci tak?

selain emulco cocoa and choc bar boleh tak digunakan lain2 cocoa and choc?choc yg makan tu aci tak?apa beza kalau baked2 guna choc masakan and choc yg makan tu?

macam mana nak hasilkan brownies yg tidak berderai2 masa potong?   ayat haku..

fresh milk boleh diganti dgn susu cair?

brownies wajib masukkan dlm fridge untuk disejukkan?atau untuk sesetengah resepi sahaja?

kita dah pm sis 1mas...takpe laa tunggu je laa respond dari sis 1mas...sape2 leh tolong jawab untuk kimb ..kimb tgk nigella feast show..dia wat brownies...dia masak tu dia cakap brownies nak bagi sedap letak secubit salt...dan juga beberapa oz warm water...and mix gether2 dgn bahan2 mentah tu....for topping plak...dia panaskan air skit...letak honey baru masukkan choc bar...mix gether2...pastu baru masuk gula castor....sedap banget tgk brownies dia

I use Shimmy's recipe.  Memang sedap!  I use Hershey's choc bits and Lurpak butter.  Tak boleh buat selalu nanti gemuk pulak my kids.  

Kena selak page belakang untuk cari resipi Shimmy.

Lurpak selalu jumpa tapi couldn't remember where..Hershey's cooking chocolate sekaran nih senan nak cari.
kat Tesco, Giant and Isetan supermarket pun ada..tak silap RM8.69 kot for a small bar

soalan kat atas tak terjawab lagi..ni ada lagi soklan

sesape tahu camne nak bagi cheese duduk betul2 kat tengah2 cake tu?sebab setiap kali i buat cake yg +cheese mesti cheese tu jatuh kebawah...ada sesiapa boleh bagi petua tak?mungkin cheese tu berat i guess dia jatuh kebawah...tapi ada sape2 tahu solution nya?

apa beza gula perang dan gula castor?adan apakah tujuan gula perang digunakan?

fresh milk digunakan untuk menambahkan perisa atau untuk suka2 hati?

full cream milk ni susu segar ke atau susu pekat tin tu?

satu lagi..butter...salted and unslated butter...camne nak identify ni?puas dah kimb belek2 kat packaging buttercup ku itew...takde tulis pon salted or unsalted ..dan apa beza kedua2 jenis butter ini...kalau digunakan dia jadi camne?kalau tak digunakan camne plak?

ok nak tanya pasal choc lagi..choc bar...kat umah ni choc masakan apa ke brand ntah mak kimb beli ni...tatau laa bar ke tak bar...sebab dia packing seketui camtu..bahasa seme org melayu...bumiputra kot...dia cuma tulis choc masakan..adakah ini juga di kelaskan sebagai choc bar?

kepada sesiapa yg expert bab2 cake dan kuih muih ni ..tolong laa kawe menjawab kemusykilan ini ye   peace..

cheese - tak pasti....your cheese ni terlalu cair?
brown sugar - antaranya beza dari segi warna dan rasa
full cream milk - susu segar macam nestle atau fresh milk dalam kotak tu (selalu big size)
butter - kalau jenis buku ada tulis salted,slightly salted or unsalted, ada juga jenis creamery..... ini ikut selera masing-masing tapi kalau dalam resipi tu ada garam dan kita gunakan salted butter; tak perlu masukkan garam lagi...nanti termasin... nak tau rasa sebenar resipi ni better cuba apa yang ditulis di resipi.....

sis chempaka...kalau ikutkan resepi...buat cheese tu cuma letak esen vanila dan sebiji telur...then mix gether2 sampai kembang...memang dia akan jadi cair selepas masukkan telur tu...macam mana nak hasilkan cheese tu supaya tak terlalu cair?so dia boleh lekat kat tengah2 cake tu...boleh tak baked layer by layer...1st layer baked around 10 mints maybe..then tuang cheese ..baked lagi ..after 10mints tuang another layer....boleh ke sis kalau guna cara camni?

kalau macam tu maybe juga adunan brownies too cair......kalau cheese terlalu cair selalunya cheese ni flat je....

chemp ada cuba masukkan cheese dalam piping bag dan pipe supaya cheese ni nampak terkumpul sikit.....

tak baca the second question..... kalau steam brownies boleh......tuang chocolate base, pipe cheese then steam 10 - 20 mins, ulang if buat layers.....bakar belum cuba maybe boleh.......

oo kukus boleh ek...kalau bakar ni bukan taknak cuba takut kek tu tak naik plak...terus terbantut...ni yg malas nak try lebeh2 ni...but will be try sebab bahan banyak lagi...

to use less fat masa bikin brownies.. gantikan 1/2 of the fat with unsweeten applesauce, atau fruit puree yang lain..

BUMP BUMP..sesape yg expert pls jawab soklan kite eh   excited nak buat brownies ni...tapi makan cake ...brownies...cookies yg kurengg rasa lemak nya dan nak guna lowfat menu maka tak best lee jawabnyee..makan benda ni sekali sekala..gemuk sikit pon takpee

first time cuba  buat brownies, guna resepi ambik dari fotopages maklang. Tak pernah makan brownies sebelum ni....macamana rasa/tekstur brownies sebenarnya? Maisya buat ni dia macam garing sikit atas dia( terlebih bakar ke ? )...tapi sedap la..tak bubuh topping pun.

resepi ni copy & paste dari fp maklang jer....tak pe ye maklang...

Fudge Brownies

1 cup butter, melted
1 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
1 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup nuts or chocolate chips (optional) (maklang prefer letak choc chip)

Mix cocoa in well with the melted butter. Add sugar, vanilla,
and eggs, mixing well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and nuts
or chocolate chips. I actually prefer the chocolate chips!! Pour mixture
into a greased 9 by 13 inch pan. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for
25 - 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out almost clean, you do
not want to overbake!

Nota : Maklang bakar dengan suhu 180 selama 40'.
