Park Eun Bin and Jung So Min being considered for Playful Kiss?
There has been a lot of speculation ever since last week over who will be the female lead after Kim Hyun Joong was confirmed to be playing the male lead role for new drama, Playful Kiss which is based on the popular manga series, Itazura na Kiss with some changes.
Initial names thrown up included Park Bo Young, KARA’s Seungyeon, f(x)’s Sulli and Park Shin Hye among 100 other female stars who had auditioned for the role. But one by one, the girls have dropped out of the running due to various reasons and now two more new names have been suggested.
The latest names to be considered include Park Eun Bin (17) and Jung So Min (21) and are supposedly at the front of the queue now. Jung So Min has attracted attention in ongoing drama, Bad Guy although that is her one and only drama thus far. Meanwhile, Park Eun Bin is almost like a veteran having started out as a child actress in 1998 and will be seen in the upcoming horror movie, Death Bell 2.
Group Eight expressed on the 14th a decision hasn’t been made yet although they did not deny that Park Eun Bin and Jung So Min were likely candidates now.
A final decision will be made shortly so that preparations can be made in advance ahead of the drama’s debut on September 1st.

[News] BEAST's Yoon Doojoon receives love calls for acting
[Sports Choseon T-News Baek Jieun Reporter] BEAST’s Yoon Doojoon is being showered with love calls for his acting.
One representative at Cube Entertainment told T-News, “Doojoon is currently getting offers for acting. Recently he had gotten a casting offer for the upcoming MBC drama ‘Playful Kiss’.”
Yoon Doojoon has prepared for acting even before debut by auditioning with Lee Kikwang for the MBC sitcom ‘High Kick Through the Roof’ auditions. Recently he had been attracting attention by showing natural acting skills in crying and cute scenes in the music video ‘I’ll Back Off So You Can Live’ from G.NA, who is another Cube Family member. Also, he has been prospering as a permanent member on ‘Danbi’ from MBC ‘Sunday Sunday Night’ getting nicknames such as, ‘Nation’s Boyfriend-dol’ which is why along with his popularity, love call’s from dramas are rising as well.
However it looks as if people are going to have to wait longer in order to see Yoon Doojoon’s acting on the big screen. This is because of his busy schedule with ‘Danbi’ filming schedule along with oversea promotions, and preparation for the next album.
According to his management, they stated, “We are thankful for all the good offers coming in, but it is hard to maneuver through his schedule, with just the ‘Danbi’ filming taking 4 nights and 5 days. When there is a good chance, he will be able to greet everyone.”
BEAST currently has upcoming Japan promotions.
