Actor Kim Si Hoo Joins Love Rain ; Love Triangle expectations in full bloom
Kim Si Hoo joins Love Rain! He will be played as the antagonist of the drama.
After the recent confirmation that Yoona of SNSD joined Love Rain that has attracted the attention, Kim Si Hoo was confirmed to play as a medical student named Lee Dong Uk (in 70's) and Lee Ji Suk (in 2000's *son of Lee Dong Uk)
He will be the rival of Seo In Ha/Seo Jun(Jang Keun Suk) on Kim Yoon Hee/Yu Ri's(Yoona) love.
PD Yoon Suk Ho have a high expectations on Kim Su Hoo because he saw SiHoo's past drama/movie projects.
Meanwhile, luxury melodrama "Love Rain" will be broadcast on the first half of next year,and their first shooting starts at the end of September .

Seo In Kook to Join Jang Geun Suk, YoonA, Kim Shi Hoo in Drama "Love Rain"
Seo In Kook, the former winner of MNet's "Superstar K," will partake in the upcoming drama, “Love Rain.”
Seo In Kook will join the star-studded cast of “Love Rain” – Jang Geun Suk, YoonA, and Kim Shi Hoo – as the role of law student Kim Chang Mo who favors playing the guitar rather than burying himself in books.
This is the first time he’s officially stepping foot as an actor as he spoke out about his excitement in saying, “It’s truly an honor to be able to be alongside an amazing director and script writer as well as the actors, and I’m glad that this is the chance to show a brand new side of myself aside from the image I have as a singer. There is pressure that I may bring down the drama, but I will work hard to not mess up with the trust that is placed on me.”
Meanwhile, “Love Rain” takes setting in both the 70s and the present, bringing a drama that will have the audience quenching for emotions in watching the young people fall in love in two different generations. Official filming begins in September and the show is aiming to air in the first half of 2012.

Jang Geun Suk and YoonA's "Love Rain" Adds More Cast Members
Two more actresses have been confirmed to take part in “Love Rain,” the upcoming fantasy-melodrama starring new generation Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk and SNSD’s YoonA. Son Eun Seo and Hwang Bora join the cast that includes Seo In Kook and Kim Shi Hoo, who were also just recently added.
Son Eun Seo’s character Baek Hye Young will form a love triangle with Jang Geun Suk’s Seo In Ha and YoonA’s Kim Yoon Hee. The character is described as a strong and attractive campus sweetheart. Hwang Bora will play Seo In Kook’s love interest, Na In Sook, an immature chatterbox.
Son Eun Seo’s recent credits are “Spy Myung Wol” and the KBS Chuseok special “Noriko Goes to Seoul” starring Lee Hong Ki. She was also in the defunct variety show “Oh My School.” Hwang Bora, meanwhile, was in “Dangerous Woman” and the 2010 movie “A Petty Romance” with Lee Seon Kyun and Choi Kang Hee.
“Love Rain” is attracting viewers’ anticipation for its production team. Director Yoon Suk Ho and scenarist Oh Soo Yeon were behind the highly successful “Autumn in My Heart” and “Winter Sonata.” The drama is set for an early 2012 broadcast.

"Love Rain" Jang Geun Suk and YoonA Bonded Together After the First Script Reading
Director Yoon Suk Ho, who created the brand-name collection of melodramas "Autumn in My Heart" and "Winter Sonata," reunites with screenwriter Oh Soo Yeon. After a decade-long hiatus, the two will collaborate in filming "Love Rain."
Recently Yoon Suk Ho, Oh Soo Yun, and the cast members (Jang Geun Suk, YoonA, Kim Si Hoo, Sohn Eun Suh, Hwang Bo Rah, and Suh In Gook) have attended the official meeting for the first script reading at Yoon's Color Production Company. With great care and detail, Yoon set up the perfect atmosphere for the cast members to bond. Everyone was well prepared for their own roles and that caused the cast to be full of enthusiasm. It is being said that the practice script reading session was more like an actual recording.
Since "Love Rain" takes place in distinct time periods, Yoon advised the cast the importance of grasping emotions of characters in both the 70s and the present. Yoon explained the significance in understanding the different kinds of love and emotions from other generations: "One-sided love was common during the 1970s, something that actors and actresses today would have not widely experienced in their generation, In the 70s, loving another person solely with your heart and soul was happiness. The experiences that remain in my memory are written in the script."
In "Love Rain," Jang Geun Suk plays double roles: a fine artist Seo In Ha who devotes his love to only one woman and free soul photographer Seo Joon. Jang Geun Suk said, "I burst into tears when I first read the script. I want to pass on this same heartwarming feeling to the audience as I portray the characters of these two men. I believe both director Yoon and screenwriter Oh will guide me to fill in any experience I lack."
Jang Geun Suk was especially praised for his brilliant acting and immersion of emotion. "I usually play a happy character. I feel naked acting as a calm character," he joked. Jang Geun Suk who is still in the process of getting to know the cast, transformed the awkward atmosphere into a more playful one.
YoonA will play two contrasting characters as well: an elegant college student Kim Yoon Hee from the 70s and an energetic young girl, living in the present day, Yu Ri. "I felt a lot of pressure having to act two different characters, but after collaborating with the cast, I feel reassured. I am open to learn and do my best," Yoona said with determination.
After the first script reading, all attendees went to dinner and bonded to unify for a successful drama that will represent 2012.
"Love Rain" will showcase the beautiful romance between a man and a woman from two different generations in a timeless manner. Yoon dedicates the upcoming drama to the younger generations, in hopes of opening their eyes to a pure, sincere love. "Love Rain" will start filming in September, aiming to air in the first half of 2012.
