JYJ's Jaejoong to Face Off Against Song Seung Hun in "Time Slip Doctor Jin"
JYJ’s Jaejoong is confirmed for the upcoming drama “Time Slip Doctor Jin.” He will play the role of Kim Kyung Tak, who is a type of military officer in the Joseon period. Jaejoong’s character Kim Kyung Tak is skilled in martial arts, very competitive, and also prideful. He will be the rival of main character “Doctor Jin.” (Played by Song Seung Hun)
On February 20, Song Seung Hun had confirmed that he would appear on “Time Slip Doctor Jin.”
It is based on the Japanese manga “Jin” which was also made into a drama in Japan. The Korean drama will be about South Korea’s best doctor “Doctor Jin” transporting back to the Joseon period in the 1860s. The drama will be Song Seung Hun’s first time acting as a doctor.

[NEWS] Actress Park Min Young is cast in MBC’s ‘Dr. Jin (working title)’
Actress Park Min Young was recently cast in MBC’s Dr. Jin (working title) to play opposite actor Song Seung Heon.
The series Dr. Jin is based on a Japanese comic of a same title. Song appears in the series as surgeon Jin Hyuk, who time travels to the 1860s—the Jo Seon Dynasty—and experiences various things.
Park Min Young plays the role of Yoo Mi Na, who is a competent surgeon, living in 2012. Tracing back to Jo Seon Dynasty, she appears as Hong Young Rae, a lady from a ruined noble family. Park’s two characters, Yoo and Hong have similar but different charms at the same time.
Yoo, who live in modern days, is a pleasant, naturally-happy person, and she is very emotional so sometimes loses her temper. However, she is so warm-hearted that she can’t pass by when she sees someone in need. Hon Young Rae, who lives in Jo Seon Dynasty, looks alike Mi Na, but has completely different character. She is really careful, strong, and warm hearted.
The series, also starring Kim Jae Joong and Lee Bum Soo, is to begin airing on May 26.

The first set of filming for the MBC drama, "Dr. Jin," was revealed with pictures of Song Seung Hun and Park Min Young. On May 1, according to MBC, they had their first filming in the middle of last month at a university hospital in Kangwon-do.
It is being said that while playing the character of the smart surgeon Jin Hyuk, Song Seung Hun captured the hearts of women who came to the set to watch him act. Park Min Young showed off proper and proud charms while acting as the character "Yoo Mi Na," who is a doctor of the internal department with a pure beauty.
The production team stated, "From the first filming, the two actors worked together well by acting naturally and comfortably. Also, for the best cut, they practiced their lines and the flow of things during their break time. After filming, they would monitor their performances together. The production team was touched by their passion."
The fantasy medical drama, "Dr. Jin," is based off of the Japanese comic with the same name. The drama is about how one of Korea's top surgeons, Jin Hyuk, played by actor Song Seung Hun, goes through various obstacles as he travels backwards in time. He starts from the present time, goes to 1860, and then further back to the Joseon Period.
