capsize dari hari rabu tapi tak byk progress dalam SAR.

bukannya tak tau lokasi incident nak kena ...

Bila tengok kes feri ni I terasa mcm malaysia lebih bagus pulak buat kerja SAR tuh walau tak dak rezeki jumpa lagi

sedihnya.. ramai budak2 sekolah atas kapal tu.
bila tengok betapa susahnya team SAR Korea nak cari survivors.. teringat kt MH370.
dah masuk hari ke berapa ni.....harap2 ada lagi survivors yg masih bertahan dalam kapal tu..
yg MH370 plak masih tak jumpa2.

kesiannya... hrp2 lah dorang sempat pakai ves ke apa2!!

Bbrp FAKTA perlu di lihat:
1. tidak panik
2. di beri latihan/ceramah/demo berkenaan dgn nya sebelum perjalanan
3. life jacket yg mencukupi (melebihi 200%)
4. masa yg di ambil utk ia senget n tenggelam
5. waktu (malam or siang)

neh tragedi depan mata kan.. benda tuh ada setongkol depan mata. punnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn boleh lambat2 ...

Sebelum nak selamatkan oghang, depa kena laa pastikan keadaan dan diri mereka pung dlm keadaan selamat jugak.
Pabila sesebuah kapal 1/2 tenggelam ataupun sudah tenggelam/terbalik, ia menjadi lebih sukar.
Kerana:
1. gelap (tiada letrik n cahaya n air)
2. peralatan seperti kerusi/meja, pisau, wire/cable akan berselerakkan
3. suhu
4. cuaca
5. lorong2 yg sempit dan berliku (bolih sesat dlm kegelapan)

Bukan bley terjah jer.......

Disiplin merupakan satu perkara yang amat penting dalam sistem pendidikan di Korea Selatan dan ini menyebabkan pemerhati membuat kesimpulan bahawa seramai 375 pelajar remaja tersebut hanya mengikut arahan yang diberi kepada mereka. Insiden feri karam di perairan Korea Selatan awal pagi Rabu kini mendapat kecaman daripada pelbagai pihak selepas laporan mengenai penumpang feri tersebut diarah untuk duduk ditempat masing-masing ketika kejadian itu berlaku, bukannya membiarkan mereka untuk keluar menyelamatkan diri.

Penumpang yang berjaya diselamatkan rata-rata menceritakan pengelaman yang sama dimana mereka disuruh pihak kru kapal untuk kembali ke tempat masing-masing dan tidak dibenarkan berganjak ke mana-mana.

Bagi mereka yang mengikut arahan tersebut, peluang untuk mereka menyelamatkan diri hilang selepas feri tersebut mula terangkat ke sebelah bahagian, seterusnya terbalik dan terus karam ke dalam lautan. Seorang mangsa yang terselamat, Kim Sung-Mook memberitahu beliau terpaksa bergelut ketika hendak menyelamatkan kira-kira 30 pelajar.

“Saya tidak dapat pergi ke ruang utama kerana seluruh feri sudah menjadi condong,” kata Kim.

South Korea ferry disaster: Families of victims issue statement -

SEOUL (THE KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - The families of the victims who lost their lives or went missing on the sunken ferry Sewol issued a statement on Friday, calling for stepped-up search and rescue efforts.

The following is the full text of the statement:

We would like to appeal with tears to rest of the public as we feel furious at the government's behaviour.

We received the shocking news at 9am on Wednesday and heard that everyone was rescued at noon. We came here to see the children, but the actual situation left us speechless.


At 5.30pm when 82 survivors - 74 students, three teachers and five others - arrived at the gymnasium, no officials who could accurately update us on the situation were around. The situation room was not even formed.

What we wanted to know the current situation was (sic). But there was no one who could responsibly order directions or explain the situation to us. Our children would have been shouting out for help under the cold water at the same time this was going on.

At 7pm we formed a temporary counter-measure team and tried to visit the scene in two teams with private divers. But the authorities did not let us leave the shore and banned us from entering.

Angered parents provoked uproar and asked to send us anyone who is in charge (of the rescue operation) but no one responded.

After 10pm, children were dying and no rescue operation was underway. Despite our continuous requests, the authorities replied that the lives (of the rescue workers) would be threatened due to high currents, after promising that the search work would be resumed at 1am.

The military and police operate under commands. Parents and private divers cried out but they did not accept our request.

On Thursday, we finally visited the scene but we saw less than 200 people working on the search operation. Only two helicopters, two military warships two maritime guard ships, six special forces vessels and eight private rescue workers were involved in the search operation. But the government lied at 9am, saying that over 550 workers, 121 helicopters and 69 ships were supporting the search and rescue work.

This is the true reality of Korea, ladies and gentlemen. Please help us to save our children.

JINDO: Naib pengetua sekolah yang terselamat daripada kejadian feri karam di perairan selatan Korea dengan beratus pelajarnya masih hilang, ditemui mati dipercayai membunuh diri.

Polis tempatan di Pulau Jindo berkata, mayat Kang Min-Kyu, 52, ditemui berdekatan gymnasium di mana ahli dan waris keluarga 268 orang yang masih belum ditemui berada sejak tragedi itu, Rabu lalu. “Punca sebenar kematiannya masih disiasat," kata seorang pegawi polis.

Agensi berita Yonhap memetik polis sebagai berkata, mangsa ditemui tergantung di sebatang pokok dipercayai membunuh diri.

Daripada 475 orang di dalam feri ketika ia karam Rabu lalu, 352 adalah murid sekolah dari Danwon High School di Bandar Ansan, di selatan Seoul.

Mereka dalam perjalanan menaiki feri berkenaan untuk ke pulau peranginan terkenal, Jeju.
Naib pengetua itu adalah antara 179 orang yang berjaya menyelamatkan diri keluar dari feri beberapa jam sebelum ia tenggelam. - AFP
