Putrajaya doled out RM150m for RM130m project rejected by banks, Rafizi alleges

PETALING JAYA, April 23 — Putrajaya separately gave RM50 million on top of a RM100 million research and development grant to a company that had been refused a commercial loan, PKR’s Rafizi Ramli claimed today as he continued his revelations about the alleged abuse of public funds involving grants to NSE Resources Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd.
Yesterday, the Pandan MP alleged that Putrajaya had awarded NSE RM100 million for a project that had been refused funding by commercial banks.
Today, Rafizi produced a letter from the company to the Terengganu state government, dated January 27, which stated that besides the RM100 million grant by the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry’s (MOSTI), the Energy, Green, Technology and Water Ministry had also agreed to dole out RM50 million for the same project — a gasifier steam boiler plant in Kerteh, Terengganu.
‘Two ministries gave out separate grants for a private company for its commercial project,’ he told reporters here.
Rafizi said that the total amount of both grants — RM150 million — exceeded the estimated cost of the project (RM130 million) by NSE Resources Corp.

yeap. skarang ni geran pun x cover semua kos projek. yg aku buatkan utk company ni pun cover 70% je. tu pun kena belanja dulu then claim balik. sbb kes2 dulu yg mana bg geran projek x jalan tu banyak buat kaedah mcm ni

Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) menafikan mengeluarkan dana RM100 juta kepada sebuah syarikat menerusi dana kajian dan penyelidikan (R&D) mereka seperti yang didakwa pengarah strategik PKR Rafizi Ramli.
Timbalan Menterinya Datuk Dr Abu Bakar Mohamad Diah berkata walaupun menerima surat 'pertimbangan' daripada Jabatan Perdana Menteri (JPM), sesebuah syarikat itu perlu memohon dan menepati syarat yang dilaksanakan MOSTI terlebih dahulu.
"Surat pertimbangan ini biasa. Orang kampung pun bagi. Tapi kena ikut syarat dulu.
"Sampai sekarang syarikat NSE Resources Corporation tak pernah pun memohon dana daripada kita," kata beliau dalam sidang media di Taman Teknologi Malaysia (TPM) hari ini.
Abu Bakar berkata MOSTI langsung tidak pernah menyembunyikan sebarang penerima dana kementerian itu.
Malah Abu Bakar turut memberi tiga jilid buku tebal yang memberi maklumat teliti mengenai kesemua 4,566 penerima dana bernilai RM 2.9 bilion di bawah kementerian itu untuk Rancangan Malaysia ke-9.

ramai jah yg salah guna dulu. depa ingat duit free tuk org melayu. suka2 mintak projek x jalan. pasal tu skang utk geran ketat cara permohonan. dan x kaver semua dah

ni geran rnd??geran rnd swasta boleh dpt ratus juta??kalau gov geran rnd nk dpt juta pon dlm mimpi je noks..ada lah sorang prof i kenal dpt geran belas juta..salah sorang fellow msia..tp geran juta2 group dia besar smpai europe sana noks..ni 100 juta bgi dkt company tah tak pernah dengar pon!!kejadian dpt geran juta jrg berlaku..plg kuat ratus ribu jah.. |
