Submissions for Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM 2015) nominations are officially open from now till 8 August 2015. Organised by MediaCorp’s Malay Community, Suria, Warna 94.2FM, Ria 89.7FM and Manja, this prestigious music awards ceremony returns for the 14th year to recognise outstanding talents and achievements in the regional Malay music industry.

This will be a special year for APM as it coincides with the Singapore’s Golden Jubilee celebration. To commemorate and celebrate this major milestone in our nation’s history, this star studded awards ceremony will showcase artistes and song performances which have sparkle the Malay music industry for the past 50 years.

APM 2015 will be held on Friday, 9 October 2015, 9.00pm at Suntec Singapore and will feature collaborations of artistes from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Viewers can catch the LIVE simulcast of APM 2015 on Suria, Warna 94.2FM, Ria 89.7FM (Singapore), Astro Ria (Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam) and Net. (Indonesia). Live streaming will be made available via Toggle.sg.

This year APM 2015 will be introducing a ‘Breakthru Artiste Award’ which recognises the many achievements of an established Malay artiste whom have made an impact in the international scene; gained recognition and has been a source of inspiration to many other artistes. A total of 19 awards will be presented in APM 2015. (Please refer to Annex for the awards list and past winners.)

“It’s heartening to see APM growing its footprints beyond the region. To see the huge increase in the number of eyeballs and the strong branding that it has established, we aim to showcase many great music talents on the night of APM 2015 as we share our celebration of Singapore’s 50th anniversary with our neighbouring countries” said Ms Zakiah Halim, Head of MediaCorp’s Malay Community.

Malay music works must be released for public consumption between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2015 to qualify for the nominations. Nominees will be revealed in media conferences held in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Jakarta, Indonesia. Music lovers from the region are also given the opportunity to vote for their favourite songs and artistes in fan-driven categories at facebook.com/anugerah.planet upon the release of nominations.

Sempena meraikan kegemilangan muzik melayu nusantara ni harap2 pihak APM akan kumpulkan penggiat2 seni serantau mcm Sanisah Huri, Hetty Koes Endang, Uji Rashid Hail Amir, Dahlan Zainudin, Ahcmad Albar,Iwan Fals, Kumpulan Slank, Aishah, Sheila Majid, Ruth Sahanaya, Glenn, Misha Omar, just to name a few. Bosan jugak blk2 ctdk, shila amzah,judika, cakra khan, taufik batisa tiap2 tahun2.

APM ni ikut trend uols. Jarang dia nak panggil legend2 buat persembahan UNLESS kalau legend2 ni dapat anugerah khas mcm Wings/M.Nasir/Chrisye tahun2 sudah. So persembahan dah boleh ramal. Konfem punya muka2 wajib mcm Taufik Batisah, CTDK atas pentas.

paham... tp harap2 kerajaan singapore boleh bg peruntukan lebih sket lah untuk angkut the legends dr seluruh pelusuk untuk perform or setidak2nya jadi tetamu vip memandangkan APM tahun ni jadi salah satu program golden jubilee  republik dorg. Harap2 ada wakil APM (esp. zakiah ape tu yg salu deliver anugerah khas APM tu) baca porem kita ni. Paling2 tidak pun bg satu slot khas untuk 3Diva Indon KD, Titi DJ and Ruth Sahanaya perform mash up erwin gutawa mcm dlm konser dorg dulu, kasi pukul sama2 retis2 baru feeling2 bagus tp nan hadoo.
