Paris Steals Christina's Baby Thunder
Leave it to Paris Hilton to provoke two hormonal women at the same time. In the early hours of Sunday morning, the self-promoting starlet hit the stage at hot spot LAX in Las Vegas and sent a message to Christina Aguilera, who was hosting the jam-packed bash.
"Congratulations to the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world -- Christina Aguilera," Paris baby-talked to the pint-size chanteuse. "You're gorgeous."
The problem?
Aguilera has carefully avoided commenting on her noticeably swollen belly, which People reports Hilton was touching just before she grabbed the microphone.
In the process of outing Christina's bun in the oven (on video, no less), the jailbird-turned-would-be-do-gooder also managed to diss frenemy Nicole Richie, who is awaiting a stork visit of her own.
We can only hope Nicole earned the runner-up prize in the "most beautiful pregnant woman" pageant that appears to be taking place in Paris' head.
Christina, to her credit, reacted with grace to the revelation.
People reports the chanteuse, wearing a loose-fitting pink chiffon baby doll dress and hiding her apparent pregnancy glow beneath several layers of face paint, appeared "temporarily shocked" and lowered her head onto hubby Jordan Bratman's shoulder as her pals looked on "stunned."
Within moments, however, the couple exchanged a look and began laughing as the crowd cheered around them.
At least Aguilera can take comfort in knowing that while Paris may have succeeded in stealing her thunder, she was less successful in stealing her trademark cemented, cotton candy peroxide coif.
Hilton sported the dire 'do at the VMAs, unwittingly transforming herself into Betty White's slightly less sexy sexagenarian doppelganger.

CHRISTINA STEPS OUT WITH HER BABY BUMP
At this point we don't even need a confirmation from Christina Aguilera or her people about her pregnancy. A glowing Aguilera showed off her increasing bust line and belly as she popped out for dinner with her husband, Jordan Bratman.
The couple enjoyed an intimate dinner with about 30 papparazzi's at Toscana Italian restaurant in Brentwood,CA. When the photogs asked Aguilera if she had any baby news to report, she played it coy with a smirk and walked into the restaurant without saying a word.
Christina and Nicole Richie both look so amazing pregnant! Rumor has it Christina is having a girl and Nicole is having a boy.

While Christina Aguilera has continued to stay mum on being pregnant, the pop diva is not about to hide her ever-expanding petite frame.
Over the past few days, the Genie In A Bottle babe proudly showed off her new curves, wearing a form fitting white top to dinner at Toscana on Thursday night.
As is typical of late, the singer was accompanied by husband Jordan Bratman, who also took his lady out to lunch at The Ivy yesterday afternoon.

AGUILERA HIDES HER SURPRISE
Miss Aguilera hasn't yet confirmed her pregnancy, and she certainly wasn't showing it off at rehearsals yesterday with Tony Bennett.
I'm told the mama-to-be wore a top and a skirt that hid her baby bump. "It was yellow and white and really flowy," an onlooker reports. "It was sorta bohemian."
Hope she's extra careful onstage. I hear at one point during the performance she walks up some stairs to stand on top of a piano.
Also: Bennett's work won't end tonight with their duet. I just heard the legendary crooner is the surprise performer at the Governor's Ball!

DRIFTERS AND PLATTERS COMPLIMENTS CHRISTINA
The world of music has come along way since the days of bebop back in the 50抯 and 60抯. Those days will be showcased tonight when the Drifters and the Platters performs at the American Red Cross Guam Chapter抯 Red Ball. In a recent interview, Sonny Turner, of the Platters, and Bobby Hendricks, of the Drifters, explained that with the exception of a few performers today such as Boys II Men, Beyonce and Christina Aguilera, other groups just don抰 have what it takes when it comes to singing.
Turner says that in the studios today, artists can alter their voices to make them sound better, which he believes doesn抰 bring out their true voice and sounds manufactured.
The Red Ball will be held at the Pacific Islands Club. Proceeds from the event will go to the local chapter of the American Red Cross and will be used in the event there is a natural disaster here in the area. |

CHRISTINA SHOPPING FOR BABY?
 Christina Aguilera and her ordinary husband, Jordan Bratman, were browsing at Kitson Kids on Robertson Blvd. on Saturday. Mrs. Bratman has yet to publicly acknowledge her pregnancy, but here she is shopping with a bulging belly and blossoming boobage -- at KITSON KIDS. Must be just a happy coincidence -- then again, they didn't buy anything!
Xtina made her way through the store, where the "maybe" preggo singer snuggled up to her scruffy hubby, and was then seen playing with a toddler as she shopped. Getting some practice?! |

CHRISTINA ADDS TO PREGNANCY RUMOURS AT EMMYS
Christina Aguilera has done little to dispel rumours she is expecting her first child following a hint-filled evening at the Emmy awards.
Pregnancy rumours have followed the 26-year-old since June, and despite her best efforts arriving for the glitzy LA bash in a figure-hugging strapless dress, she could not hide her baby bump.
She followed up this arrival with husband Jordan Bratman by performing Stepping Out With My Baby in a suggestive duet with legendary crooner Tony Bennett.
Awards host Debra Messing joked that Christina had been planning to sing the same song with William Shatner but did not want to carry his "lovechild".
"Pregnancy clearly agrees with Christina," a source told the Sun.
"She looked radiant. I wish she would share her happy news with all of her fans."
Among the big winners at the Emmys last night was HBO's The Sopranos, which was given a swansong best drama award for its final season.
Ugly Betty's America Ferrera scooped the best actress award meanwhile, with UK comic Ricky Gervais walking away with the gong for best actor in a comedy series for BBC2's Extras.
