CNBLUE is the top boy band in Korea. Besides being famous for powerful live performances, the 4 members have average heights of 183cm and handsome looks. They are wearing American brand Brooks Brothers for this photoshoot. CNBLUE members say, “We want to wear these back to Korea.”
When asked who knows best to pick stylish clothes, all members agree it’s Leader Jung Yong Hwa. Jung Shin says unhappily, “Whenever I bought clothes home, they always say my choice is bad and even ask me to return them. But for Yong Hwa, everybody praises his picks. I feel so hurt.” Jung Yong Hwa explains, “With the same price, I buy one piece of clothing and looks good. Jung Shin buy a lot on the Net but none looks half as good.” Then he stands up, makes a turn and asks the filming crew proudly, “Don't I look great?”
Jung Yong Hwa talks about what he thinks about fashion and style, “Brands are not important, whether the clothes suit the person matters more.” When he picks everyday wears, he likes to mix and match clothes of bright colors, and he won't forget rings and accessories. He wears the couple ring all the time, explaining, “I wear it because I’m afraid I may lose it.”
Min Hyuk likes the natural style and loves wearing hats for a cool guy look. Jong Hyun doesn’t care much, saying, “I just wear what everybody else ask me to wear.” Jung Shin, who’s said to have a special taste, explains, “I like it when I feel comfortable. Just like today, I look like an English student.” Then Jung Yong Hwa adds an irrelevant comment, “Though you look like an English student, you’re still a Korean student.”
CNBLUE shot to fame performing their own music. Leader Jung Yong Hwa says, “Most Korean music groups focus on dance while we perform live music. That’s what we’re proud of.” They’re still looking for their own style while composing music and writing lyrics. “Each of us has unique character, this is the style of CNBLUE.”
When asked if they want to collaborate with Taiwan singers, Jung Yong Hwa says, “Of course. But we’ll look for some music style very different from ours. Linkin Park and Jay Z’s working together impresses us most.” As CNBLUE is doing well in Japan, we ask if they will consider working in Taiwan in the future. They shout, “Sure!”

Didn’t even dream that I will be one of them who was chosen~~ and so the host started to ask questions that until now I still can’t remember. The 8 of us are very nervous~! The first unnie and me were Yonghwa bar silent stalkers. I said before, my RP will burst at the place Yonghwa was ==. And he really remembered me, when one by one went up, the rest of us were standing at a side looking, Yonghwa saw me and point at me, I looked, nodded and smiled at him and also pointed myself, he also nodded. He seems to understand that I will be going up later~~ Yong ah! I am dying!! Teased by you aimlessly! In the end,before going up, host announced my name, Jonghyun and Jungshin dongsaeng turned to look at me, I presumed I talked too much during the fansign and so they recognized me too == I walked up and had eye contact with Yong, oh my god, my heart was about to jump out! I asked Yong whether he recognize me? He said Of course~! Oh my!!!! And then I hugged him tightly at his waist with my head leaning on his chest (Please don’t PIA me), Yong was quite tall and was quite comfortable to hug. Getting close to him can smell his perfume, is those light perfume type~~ and then the other 3 also hug together„,I almost fainted at that time~ Add on one sentence, before going up the stage, Shanghai’s manager heard the host said that I gave a treasure to him when I was in Seoul, and he actually knew and said so it was me who gave == oh my, I did not anticipate to see it, but now I do!!
C.N Blue’s leader Jung Yong Hwa decided that he will become a top singer because of his mother. He revealed this story on the “Busan Men” special of “Come to Play”.
On the show, Jung Yong Hwa shared that his mother wept while watching his debut stage. “My mother wasn’t happy about me becoming a singer up until my debut,” he said. “Throughout my auditions and even when I became a trainee, her reaction was basically, ‘Go ahead~ let’s see how well you can do.’”
He added: “I finally had my debut stage and my mother was there. I couldn’t see anyone except for my weeping mother. At that moment, I decided that I had to become one of the best singers out there.” The guests on the show teared up listening to this story.
The guests of “Come to Play”’s “Busan Men” special included Jung Yong Hwa, 2AM’s Chang Min, actor Kim Min Jun, comedian Kim Tae Hyun, Supreme Team’s Simon D, and comedienne Kim Sook. The show is set to air on October 4th at 11:15PM.
