"Lee Seon-hee's family got 1%?"... Hook, the reality of Lee Seung-gi's advertising fee hooking
In January 2011, Seunggi Lee signed an advertisement with an outdoor brand. The model fee is 500 million won.
How much will Lee Seung-gi get from this advertisement? First of all, the agency fee is 10%. I paid 50 million won (directly). The remaining amount is 450 million won.
Lee Seung-gi shared this money with Hook. If you divide it by 4:6 according to the settlement ratio at the time, Lee Seung-gi's share (40%) is 180 million won. Hook earned 270 million won.
Lee Seung-gi has already paid 10% of his modeling fee as agency fees. However, the commission paid to the actual agency is 7%. The remaining 3% went into someone's pocket.
Dispatch' obtained an advertisement model fee settlement statement from Hook Entertainment. It was possible to check the details of the deposit and withdrawal of advertising expenses of actors such as Lee Seung-gi, Lee Seo-jin, Yoon Yeo-jeong, and Park Min-young.
◆ 3% disappeared

“I knew that about 10% of the model fee was paid to the advertising agency. However, former and current directors of Hook shared a portion of the fee.

◆ Who is the fake agency?
'Dispatch' tracked fake agency fees. Hook's former and incumbent executives A, B, and C, acquaintances D and E of CEO Jinyoung Kwon, and Lee Seon-hee's family F are found to have taken blind money.
Hook took off the bottom in various ways. He also touched Lee Seung-gi's bank account and directly subtracted it from the hook settlement profit. Everything was processed under the name of agency commission.
In some cases, contracts are signed directly with advertisers. For example, an advertisement for an event conducted with a financial company in 2010. Lee Seung-gi received 200 million won as a guarantee. At this time. There was no agency.
However, Hook deducted 10% of the agency fee from Lee Seung-gi's guarantee. A, B, and C split the 20 million won amicably. A and B ate 5 million won, and C ate 10 million won.
Hook's 'hooking' developed differently each time.
◆ Who are A, B, C, D, E, F?
The 3% that actors secretly eat is the heart of CEO Kwon Jin-young. He decides, he distributes.
From 2010 to 2019, the 3% group was born. Hook executives A, B, and C (former positions) hit 'Pindtang' as a slang word. 1% each was put into the back pocket as an agency fee.
In November 2019, a new face appeared. C dropped out and D appeared. D is Kwon Jin-young's high school classmate . A, B, and D took 1% each until October 2020.
In November 2020, a member change took place. Singer Lee Seon- hee's family F appeared. A, B, and F took 1% each until March 2022. (F never worked for Hook.)
In June 2022, E pushed out the Lee Sun-hee family. A, B, and E form a new 3% group. E is for a former Louis Vuitton employee . He is an acquaintance who recently assisted CEO Kwon Jin-young.
◆ Yun Yeo-jeong, Lee Seo-jin, and Park Min-young were also victimized
Would Lee Seung-gi have been defeated? Yoon Yeo-jeong, Lee Seo-jin, and Park Min-young also paid 10% for agent fees. However, 7% went to the 'real' agent and 3% to the 'fake' agent.
The 1% that A has taken so far is estimated to be at least 600 million won. B and C are about 400 million won. Kwon Jin-young's classmate D stole 50 million won and Lee Seon-hee's family F 130 million won.
The total amount of 1% deposited by A, B, C, D, E, and F is 1.8 billion won. Hook has 20-30% of advertising revenue depending on the settlement rate. Here, I even took a fake fee as a bonus.
Of course, A, B, and C can explain that they were involved in the advertising contract. However, it is questionable whether they can escape responsibility. If it is an incentive based on an advertising contract, it is correct to pay with company money.
D, E, and 1% of F are close to breach of trust. There is no justification for defrauding 1% of the artist because of being Kwon Jin-young's alumni (D) or best friend (E) or Lee Sun-hee's family (F).
◆ Fake A Fee (agent fee), Revert
“You paid the full amount of unpaid settlement amount of 2.9 billion won and delayed interest of 1.2 billion won.” (hook)
December 16, 2022. Hook splattered his press release. According to their calculations, the total amount Hook paid out is 4.1 billion won.
"I received a text message this morning that an amount of about 5 billion won has been deposited into my bank account." (Lee Seung Gi)
On the same day, Lee Seung-gi made a statement. However, the money Lee Seung-gi received was close to 5 billion won. There is a gap of 700 to 800 million won between the two statements.
December 22, 2022. Lee Seung-gi sued CEO Kwon Jin-young and three current and former directors for fraud and embezzlement.
"On December 16th, Hook paid Lee Seung-gi <exploited advertisement fee and delay interest of about 630 million won> separately from the sound source fee. Accordingly, the legal representative also filed a complaint against the above criminal facts."
To sum up, Hook deposited 4.8 billion won to Lee Seung-gi on the 16th. By adding 630 million won in advertising fees to 4.18 billion won in unsettled music fees (including interest), the total amount was close to 5 billion won.
However, they removed the part of the 'cheating' advertising fee (600 million won) from the press release. I covered the sky with the palm of my hand, fearing that another evil act besides the sound source would be revealed.
