After delays and much wait, the lead roles for the SM Entertainment produced, Korean adaptation of the hit Japanese manga, “Hana Kimi,” has been confirmed. According to Korean reports, SHINee’s Minho and f(x)’s Sulli will be playing the lead roles of Izumi Sano and Mizuki Ashiya respectively.

Lee Hyun Woo and Kang Ha Neul join the cast of the Korean version of Hana-Kimi

In addition to SHINee’s Min Ho and f(x)’s Sulli, SBS’ new drama series Beautiful to You has wrapped up casting other actors and began shooting episodes.
On June 8, a staff member of the production crew said that following Min Ho and Sulli, Lee Hyun Woo and Kang Ha Neul completed script reading on June 7 and they are to join the main cast.
In Beautiful to You, Kang Tae Joon (played by Min Ho), the gold medalist in high jump, goes through a slump because of an injury, but he develops a romantic relationship with Goo Jae Hee (played by Sulli) who fakes her sex to transfer to a boys’ high school. The story is based on Nakajo Hisaya’s cartoon with the same title published from 1996 to 2004. It has already been made into TV series in Japan and Taiwan.
Lee Hyun Woo, who debuted as a child actor and is highly praise with outstanding acting skills, plays a role who feels something special from Jae Hee. He does not know Jae Hee’s true sex and begins a thrilling school life. On the other hand, the rising star in the field of musicals, Kang Ha Neul, appears as a rival high jumper to Tae Joon.
Moreover, Ki Tae Young, Lee Young Eun, Kang Kyung Jun, and Lee Honey are to join the series and show harmonious acting with other cast. Ki appears as school nurse who keeps Jae Hee’s secret and gives advices while getting involved in a triangle relationship with Lee Young Eun and Kang Kyung Jun. Lee Honey plays the president of the school and sports a gentleman image.
Besides the main cast introduced above, ZE:A’s Kwang Hee, Seo Joon Young, and Kim Ji Won will join the cast. It builds more expectations as Ko So Young is considering to play chairwoman of the board.
Beautiful to You will premiere in August as a follow-up series to Phantom.

And people wondered who would play the second male lead and hoped an actor, not an idol, would be cast. Yesterday, Lee Hyunwoo came to my mind, and I thought to myself if he could be cast, it would be perfect. Yes, he was cast!!! Now I can believe SM is serious about making this drama not only to sell it to overseas idol fans, but also to lure muggles. Lee Hyunwoo is a rising star who is making a successful transition from a child star to an attractive and good adult actor. He was in the Master of Study and the Equator Man.

Seo Joonyoung (known for his impressive acting in Tree with Deep Roots) as Ha Seungli, dorm supervisor and fencing team chief — a macho type with strong leadership
Ki Taeyoung as Jang Minwoo, a mysterious eccentric school nurse who helps Jaehee
Kang Gyeongjoon as a comic and clumsy track-and-field team coach
Lee Young-eun, a teacher of Korean in a triangle relationship with the school nurse and the coach
Lee Hanee, school president with gentle charisma
Lee Hanwee, Taejoon’s father
Lee Ahyun, the dorm supervisor’s mom who knows Jaehee’s secret and helps her
Ahn Hyegyeong, a sports magazine reporter
Ko Soyoung, head director like Bae Yongjoon in Dream High; her casting made a headline because this is her first TV appearance since her marriage. She’s a top model and star who is now married to Jang Dong-gun, a top star in Korea.
Also, Kim Jiwon (CF model, High Kick 3) as a student in a neighbor school who likes Taejoon, Gwanghee of ZE:A as another dorm supervisor and theater team chief (?) who is adored by everyone as the owner of absolute beauty. El of Infinite may also be cast as one of Taejoon’s friends.

tapi yerla minho berlakon mcm tiang letrik sket..tapi watak sano agak emotionless , so x payah gigih sgt nak berlakon watak dia.. |

tapi taiwan version mcm best skit.. maybe sbb dia bebetul tiru orginal citer from manga.. kan?
