Few things that many Christians don't know about Muslims and Islam

1-  Muslims do not believe in Muhammad (peace be upon him) as God. They believe that he is a Messenger of God, just like Moses (peace be upon him).

2-  Muslims do not believe that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messiah.  We believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) was the Messiah.

3-  Muslims do believe that the "Real" Old Testament Bible did predict the coming of Jesus (peace be upon him).

4-  Muslims do believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) did predict the coming of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).  

5-  Muslims do not believe in worshiping idols or moon Gods. Nor any Muslim believes that the reason why the Crescent is the Muslims' symbol on their flag is because Muhammad (peace be upon him) had cut the moon in half with his sword. That is a fabricated lie about Muhammad and Islam. The Crescent is the symbol on our flag is because we start our fasting month "Ramadan" when the Crescent appears, and we end that month when the full moon appears after 30 or 31 days of the Crescent's appearance.  The Crescent is not a holy symbol.   Islam doesn't believe in holy idols or symbols to be worshiped !.  The only holy thing in this world to Muslims is the Noble Quran, God's Revelations and Holy Scripture to us.  No person is holy and no image nor idol nor symbol is holy either:

"They ask thee Concerning the New Moons.  Say: They are but signs To mark fixed periods of time In (the affairs of) men, And for Pilgrimage.  It is no virtue if ye enter the houses from the back:  It is virtue if ye fear Allah.  Enter houses Through the proper doors:  And fear Allah:   That ye may prosper.  
(The Noble Quran, 2:189)

6-  Muslims do not believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) was a false Prophet.  We believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) was a Messenger of God who came down to earth and revealed God's words to the people of Israel, just like Moses (peace be upon him) did.

7-  Muslims do not view Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a holy figure that they worship.  We (Muslims) only worship Allah Almighty (God) and nothing else.  1/3 of the entire Holy Quran (the Muslims holy book) talks about the Oneness of God and how God will punish those who worship multiple Gods and idols.

8-  Muslims do not view the Bible as a man made lie.  We (Muslims) view the current Bibles of today as modified books that can not be trusted.  The Bibles of today had been tampered with.

I have heard my old Sejarah Islam teacher claims there is one also but so far, no one had shown me one nor did I find one anywhere.

no....prophet's name is not equal with Allah.....Nama Allah dahulu di tulis sebelum Nama Nabi....btw..benda tu jus untuk decoration jer...kalau takda pun tak per....

But whay u need to build patung Jesus/ salib kalau korang betul sembah tuhan???

Who says  prophet Muhammad  is equal to Allah? All Muslims know that Prophet Muhammad is the servant of God, even if his written name is put side by side with Allah's  in mosques or elsewhere ~ it only denotes Creator and servant, Creator and created, God and His prophet ~ All Muslims know that ~ only Christians make that mistake about Jesus. Prophet Muhammad can NEVER be equal to Allah. Neither can jesus EVER be. It is blasphemy even to think of it.

My lecturer told me once that they DO believe in Jesus except that they do not believed that the one being killed on the cross as Jesus but the one that betrays him. Correct me if I am wrong.

The NT tell us that Jjesus died in the cross and when his body was taken to the tomb it disappeared and Jesus returned on the 3rd day as wittnessed by his apostals. But after six hundered years later an comes along and say Jesus was not crucified but Judas was and Jesus just vanished. So he says there is no grave of Jesus nor did he died. This Arab calling himself the last prophet invented a new  NT for the Christians. An Arab teaching the history of Christianty as though he had lived to see Jesus vanish six hundred years before his birth. What a miracle!

Anyone with rationality and intelligent would know that this Arab created a new story after learning the history of Christianiy from the  cousin of Kathija who was a Christian. He began to create his own bible like the Quran to lure the Christians into his fold. When it did not work the Christians too like the Judaist became his bitter enemy. This is the truth but Muslims would not accept as to doubt would be punishment in hellfire. That fear was put into the hearts of Muslims 1400 years ago and still being believed by Muslims to this very day.

sebab supaya muslim sentiasa mengingati nya,,krn Beliau telah banyak berkorban utk mengembang kan Islam ,,Dan sebagai tanda penghargaan kpd beliau, sehingga kini ajarannya masih bertahan,,,

lagi pun rasul & nabi terdahulu hanya mengamal kan ilmu mentauhidkan Alllah,,,
berbanding dengan N.Muhammad yg menyampaikan ajaran Mentauhidkan Allah secara menyeluruh...

Allah is the standard Arabic word for "God". The term is best known in the West for its use by Muslims as a reference to God but actually Arabic-speakers of all faiths, including Christians and Jews, use the word "Allah" to mean "God" . The Muslim and Christian Arabs of today have no other word for 'God' than 'Allah'. Since the word Allah is a general term for "God" then by putting Muhammad's name side by side with Allah's exclusively symbolizes the religion of Islam .

i thought many people not just christian link it with an acient kind of whorship or something.
