Then Onemusic – My Social Entertainer might be the app for you.

Presented by XOX Media, a wholly-owned subsidiary of XOX Bhd, and Universal Music, this is the first app with multi-channel network.

It comprises music, videos, podcasts, radio channels and TuneMoji along with the latest news, social media updates and exclusive premium content.

“From music to staying in touch with your loved ones and keeping tabs on trends worldwide, Onemusic bridges the gap and connects the universe into one app,” said XOX Bhd group chief executive officer Ng Kok Heng at the launch in Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

TuneMoji, the app’s first-of-its-kind concept, is a feature which one can reply via text with GIF images that come with music, allowing users to send snippets of their favourite artistes’ music videos or movies across various platforms on social media.

“So instead of saying ‘sorry’ to your friends, you can send them Justin Bieber’s Sorry,” said Universal Music Malaysia and Singapore managing director Kenny Ong.

Among those present at the star-studded event were Indonesian singer Anggun, Malaysian singer Fazura and Mandopop duo Thomas Jack.

Additionally, Onemusic announced that Anggun, also an international artiste and a judge on talent show Asia’s Got Talent, would be releasing a song in collaboration with Fazura. Entitled The Good Is Back, it will be released exclusively on digital platforms in 2018.

Subscribers of the app will be able to access not only the latest music, but also up-to-date and first-hand news from their favourite celebrities.

They can also look forward to myriad members-only events, from details on artistes currently touring their city, roadshows and sports gatherings to other exciting events.

“We are targeting four million downloads by 2018,” added Ng.

Onemusic comes in three packages – Basic, Plus and Premium – and can be downloaded via Google Play and Apple. Currently, there is a three-month trial offer, after which it can be accessed only by XOX subscribers.

In conjunction with the launch, XOX Media is looking for one lucky Jacky Cheung fan, who will win an all-expenses-paid trip inclusive of concert tickets, accommodation and flight tickets for two to catch Jacky Cheung in action in three different cities.
