Red Velvet's Joy had been in talks of starring in MBC drama 'Great Temptation', and now she's been confirmed.
The drama is based on the French novel 'Les Liaisons dangereuses', and will star actor Woo Do Hwan as 20-year-old Kwon Si Hyun trying to seduce Eun Tae Hee (played by Joy) with his cunning ways.

Joy's character Eun Tae Hee, who believes being intrigued by love is the most pathetic thing in the universe, begins to think the opposite when she meets Si Hyun.The drama staff commented,"We are delighted to announce that Woo Do Hwan and Joy have been cast in the leading roles. Please look forward to their heated chemistry in this romance drama."
The drama is scheduled to air in the first half of 2018.

Actor Woo Do Hwan and Red Velvet’s Joy have been confirmed to appear on MBC’s new drama “Love Game.”
The upcoming drama is based on the well-known French novel “Dangerous Liaisons,” which has been adapted into multiple films. On December 28, a source from the drama stated, “Woo Do Hwan and Joy have been cast as the main leads.”
“Love Game” is a temptation romance drama that tells the story of a man and a woman in their twenties who jump into a dangerous love game, not knowing that they might be dedicating their entire lives.
Woo Do Hwan is set to play Kwon Shi Hyun, a twenty-year-old man who is known as a homme fatale. He is one of the main players who bets his life in the dangerous game as he tries to seduce Eun Tae Hee, played by Joy.
Joy’s character Eun Tae Hee is described as a twenty-year-old woman who thinks being swayed by love is the most pitiful thing in the world. But after meeting Shi Hyun, Tae Hee realizes that she took love too lightly and ends up in a turmoil.
MBC’s upcoming drama “Love Game” is set to air sometime in the early half of next year.

The cast of “Love Game,” a remake of “Dangerous Liaisons,” has expanded its cast! Previously Red Velvet’s Joy and Woo Do Hwan were confirmed to be the lead actors for the MBC drama, based on the French novel “Dangerous Liaisons,” which has been adapted into multiple films. Now up-and-coming actors Kim Min Jae and Moon Ga Young have been confirmed to join the cast. Kim Min Jae will be playing a playboy and third-generation chaebol heir named Lee Se Joo, while Moon Ga Young will be playing a character named Choi Soo Ji, who is said to be a role model for all women in their 20s. They are both friends with Woo Do Hwan’s character, Kwon Shi Hyun, but their relationships will undergo a change due to love. “Love Game” tells the story of a man and a woman in their twenties who jump into a dangerous love game, not knowing that they might be dedicating their entire lives. “Love Game” is slated to air sometime in March.
