Bertemu jodoh disebabkan hadiah kebajikan 11 tahun dahulu

Sometimes, some things happen in life that might make you believe that it was meant to be like that all along. As a quote goes, “some things are too strange and strong to be coincidences,” however, read below for an interesting story that will make you think just that!
Tyrel Wolfe from Idaho, was just 7 years old when he took part in an initiative eighteen years ago in the year 2000. It was set up by international humanitarian organization Samaritan’s Purse. What he did was, he filled a shoebox with school supplies, toiletries, and toys, and had to send it to children in various countries as a Christmas gift.
His gift-filled shoebox was sent randomly to a girl named Joana Marchan, from Quezon City, in the Philippines.
So, Joana had sent Tyrel a thank you message but the note hadn’t reached him at the time. The box meant a lot to Joana, so she always wanted to give him a proper thank you.
In 2011, 11 years after, Joana found Tyrel on Facebook and sent him a friend request. They appeared to have plenty of things in common so they started having conversations through messages for the next year until Tyrel decided to visit her for a 10-day-trip in the Philippines.
 
Joana claimed she was ‘so happy she cried’, saying:
“Once I saw his face, an amazing feeling came over me.”
Tyrel spoke to Samaritan’s Purse, saying:
“All I knew was Joana was the one.”
They got married on the 5th of October, 2014. And they instructed the guests at the wedding to pack Christmas boxes for Samaritan’s Purse so they can be delivered to children overseas.
Tyrel said:
“Operation Christmas Child is what brought Joana and me together, so we wanted to somehow make the project a part of our celebration.”
