PETALING JAYA: Putrajaya meluluskan beberapa projek berimpak tinggi di Kedah, termasuk pembinaan Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kulim yang bernilai RM1.6 bilion.
1.6 jer ? Alangkkan KLIA 2 pun makan 6 billion, pada awalnya budget 2 bil jer. |

Alhamdulillah.. Dato Seri Azmin Ali; Menteri Hal Ehwal Ekonomi telah mengumumkan 7 projek utama yang akan dilaksanakan untuk pembangunan negeri Kedah.
Telah diluluskan..
1. Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kulim dengan kos RM1.6 billion
2. Infra Industrial Park Hub Industri Pembuatan dan Logistik di Sidam, Kulim dengan kos RM300 juta
3. Wujudkan 'connectivity' dengan membina lebuhraya Koridor Utara Bandar Baharu-Sungai Petani dan dari Bandar Baharu ke Jambatan Kedua Pulau Pinang dengan kos RM1.7 billion
4. Bina Perpustakaan Digital di Alor Setar dengan kos RM15 juta
5. Taman Industri Petrokimia
6. Memperkenal kad KIDA (Kasih Ibu Darulaman) untuk golongan ibu yang menjadi ketua isi rumah. Boleh membeli belah di pasaraya dan kos ditanggung oleh kerajaan negeri. KIDA bantu lebih 5000 keluarga di Kedah yg berada di bawah paras miskin tegar.
7. RM1.13 billion tambahan bajet kepada negeri Kedah untuk projek pembangunan
Kelulusan bajet serta merta oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan kepada negeri Kedah. -

buat kat SP x boleh ka?
Kulim ke Penang lebih kurang 50km. Kira dekat.
Penang nak expand atau buat baru, Kedah nak rebut volume flights dan kargo. Nak couple dgn Penang, diorang buat highway Kulim-Penang.
Tapi Penang tak banyak tanah, Kedah banyak utk dikongsi dgn Penang. Share share lor...
Tapi dengar kata tanah2 kat Kedah sume leasehold bank tak bagi nilai tanah mcm ni, strict kuota bumi 30% tapi Penang takde, banyak connection dan business bertapak di Penang, tetap akan masuk airport Penang. Hopefully projek airport ni tak jadi white elephant lah. Harap kerajaan Penang dan Kedah bekerjasama |

Kulim airport construction: Dr M prefers to listen to his son

MCA has expressed bewilderment at the federal government’s decision to spend RM1.6bil to set up an international airport in Kulim, Kedah.
It’s president, Dato’ Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the Penang international airport was literally “bursting out of its seams” but the federal government has chosen to ignore the appeal by the state government.
KUALA LUMPUR: MCA has expressed bewilderment at the federal government’s decision to spend RM1.6bil to set up an international airport in Kulim, Kedah.
Party president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong described the decision as “a classic case of political consideration over economic principles”.
He said the distance between the Penang International Airport and Kulim was a mere 46km apart, adding that the travelling time was only about an hour.
“We are told that the government has no money but yet it is prepared to spend RM1.6bil to build an international airport in Kulim. It is set to be a white elephant because most international flights will fly to Penang and not Kulim.
“The traffic volume does not justify the setting-up of this airport,” he said.
Dr Wee said the Penang international airport was literally “bursting out of its seams” but the federal government has chosen to ignore the appeal by the state government.
He said despite the stand taken by Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, it “appears that the PM prefers to listen to his son, the MB”.
Dr Wee said what was initially planned as a cargo airport in Kulim would now be a full-fledged international airport.
“The DAP state government owes a lot of explanation to Penangites and at the same time, the federal government should stop telling us it has no money,” he added. |
