ramai jaki dgn HR dlm ni pasal diorg dpt HR jenis hauk kot

mmg jadi tradisi kerja HR ni akan sentiasa dibenci dan dikeji, tapi dibalik tabir, mereka2 nilah yg proses gaji, jadi tempat luahan hati staff yg depress kena tekan dgn bos kt tempat kerja, prepare offer letter, buat salary proposal, update employee handbook, prepare job description, deal dgn KWSP, LHDN, tabung haji,  select the competent candidate to be part of the company, dlm erti kata lain beri peluang untuk bekerja.... tapi penghujungnya ada jugak staff yg HR hired, mengeji nista HR

akak sbg HR sendiri pun tak kesah pun kena kutuk ke apa, so far byk kerja yg akak sendiri buat rela hati in terms of humanity, there's is one moment staff accident, masuk red zone hospital, accident motor, akak sendiri terus ke sana tunggu sampai kul 10 mlm utk uruskan hal2 berkait, pasal wife nya takde disini, sorg2 je dia kat perantauan..... ada juga kes staff yg mana depress dan anxiety, pasal dlm proses cerai, akak handle as a family member bagi nasihat dan suggest dia utk jumpa psikiatri, we even issue GL utk dia jumpa psikiatri (which many company tak issue GL kalau hal2 kaitan psikiatri ni)

sepanjang akak kerja, disiplin staff selalu jadi isu utama... at my past empployer, rezeki akak kot, dpt top management yg sentiasa support HR dan jadi tempat rujukan.... staff buat salah, kami bagi nasihat, betulkan, kalau tak jalan, baru lah tindakan a bit keras mcm showcause dikeluarkan... even pangkat bos2 pun akak pernah handle dan pernah issue garden leave (pasal kes main duit company)

now also HR dah moving towards analytics, more to teknologi based and HRBP concept, just like what you said, and akak sendiri dlm proses utk kearah itu skrg ini

by the way kalau korg mentioned HR korg tak competent, bias kpd majikan, tak salah pun kalau korg upkan issue tu dan tanya sendiri kpd HR... tapi kalau still sama lagi mcm tu, why not carilah peluang kerja kt tempat lain yg ada HR yg perfect dimata anda....

kalau staff kt mall yg dikatakan MC tu, rakan sekerja u, 1 department, dan u kena cover kerja dia, agaknya apa perasaan u?

kalau benar dia tipu MC hasil dari siasatan HR , boleh dikira 'malingering' - pretend to be sick in order to escape duty from work, yg boleh dianggap kesalahn sgt serius... one whole day output dari staff tu sia2 dan rugi dan effect work chain staff lain...

banyak cabang HR ni, in HR ada learning and development, payrol, compensation and benefits , performance management, recrutiment (yg skrg ni dah sikit2 transform jadi HR business partner), HR analytics, employee relations (isu2 disiplin / Industrial Relations - IR) and tambahan : OSHA...

yg manager grad chemist akak cerita tu, dulu he's good in training bila dia join kilang dia kerja dulu. asalnya kerja kt lab kt kilang tu then suddenly ex bos dia suruh buat module training dan train staff semua dan managed to increase staff ounya productivity, terus  kerja as HR dan in same time HR operations pun dia buat.... now dia keja ngan IT company as L&D Head with huge/perks...

HR ni org slalu nmpk as a "police" cari org bt salah, buat gaji & admin stuff. Kalo company kecik takde specialization sgt, tapau semua la.
Tp sebetulnya byk cabang. Payroll administration, compensation & benefit, learning & development, talent management, staffing, employee & industrial relations, HRBP, project management

company aku mmg dah ada analytics team & strategic HR partner. Tp mentality org kita payah nk ubah.Depa duk ingat keja kita ni layan depa etc. Aku tak kisah sgt kekadang layan, tp manja sgt mmg kena la.


Psl disiplin employees ni slalu rasa depa betoi. AKu pnh la di assign ke satu entity company lps byk sgt complaint sampai ke HQ kat US.
Sorg plant mgr kena MSS sbb underperformance & HR kena tukar portfolio. 1st day aku p plant tu jumpa Mfg Director from US mcm nk terjojol semua employees. Lps official assignment, bila aku round or try utk sembang, sorang2 complaint mcm depa tu maksum. Bila terminate plant manager yg ke2 depa punya seronok ingat "kepala" depa dpt la position tu, tp aku p hire org len. Lps dpt plant manager baru depa buat hal plak ngn dia ni. So dr situ aku dah nmpk la sapa yg bermasalah. So aku mmg bgtau sesiap HQ slowly nk remove parasit2 ni. Skrg xder yg brani sgt lps 2/3 kepala aku removed last year..

ramai ingat HR keje yg sng, goyang kaki & cari salah org.. sbb tu ramai yg terjun bidang ni.
hakikatnya kalo hang deal dgn machine, tak puas ati & nak marah hang bleh la hentak or maki machine tu.
TAPI boleh ke hang nak hentak & maki orang?Although org tu maki hang bila tak puas ati, as HR apa yg hang bleh buat adalah dgr & angguk penuh empathy. Lepas tu hang p toilet or transfer maki tu kat boss hang - if boss hang okay

my company dah lama dah guna concept HRBP nie...dah lebih 15 tahun...each dept ada their own HRBP....their task is to support dept Mgr in HR related issue. Pnh ada HRBP yg bagus dan ada jugak yg jenis suka lepas tangan...

mmg big organization dah lama adopt structure ni. Tp byk lg yg still remain traditional structure kat sini.

psl jadi polis tu, i think our HR dont dare to complaint psl diorg sendiri pnh di amukkan dek our big boss sebab slalu MIA. Masuk kerja kul 8, kul 9 pagi satu org pun takde kat HR dept, sama jugak after lunch....kena amuk skali, elok lah sekejap...

epf ke tax ke apa2 gomen announce dorang memang akan cepat update..so iols sangat perlukan hr

local IT team is ok tapi global IT team menyakitkan hati..lembab

HR pun sama mcm staff lain ada yg problematic ada yg bagus.
2-3 tahun lps manjang business leader lain komplen psl staff HR masuk lambat.
Tertukar polis pulak. Tp company aku tak boleh amuk2 ni, remind bebaik je la suh manage time tu.
Kalo aku amuk tak pasal plak kena escalate...

to me, kalu takde hal, lantak lah nak masuk lambat pun...tapi bila ada hal kita carik diorg sorang pun takde, sekali dua takper lah...kalu dah byk kali sure ada yg complaint...tapi yg diorg kena amuk tu psl our big boss sendiri dok perati diorg, maybe haritu dia pun nak carik diorg...maka kena lah amukkan dari big boss...country mgr....hehe..
