In the hospital, Sheng was trying hard to console a devastated Hei. Hei finally revealed that LL has been ill and weak since young and she suffered from some lung disease whereby this is a small bubble in her lungs and she might need operation immediately when the bubble bursts. That is the reason why Hei works so hard to earn money. Sheng finally understood Hei's intention of being so strict with LL and also why she's so money minded. He feels guilty for misunderstanding Hei all these while and also starts to have a growing admiration for Hei. LL finally woke up and got better. Sheng drove Hei and LL back home. He told everybody to dust the house more often, no furry things in the house because of LL. This made Hei happy.

After they made up, Hei was on the roof taking clothes in. Sheng came up and asked her to do a favour for him. He told Hei to pretend to be a cleaning lady for a restaurant that Pui Kim and others were going to. Sheng wanted to find out something about them. Sheng bribes Hei with money and finally Hei agreed to do it for him. Sheng said that women would do anything for money.

On the day of the operation spying, Hei got an immediate cleaning job in the restaurant and was setting up a camera in the hole of the vent inside the room. The camera connected to Sheng, Amy, and Ken's eating room next door. Hei made sure that they could see everything. Soon, Pui Kim, Mark(Pui Kim's son) and a bunch of people came in.

They were playing Mahjong and one of the people said that the vent was dusty. He called Hei in and she started dusty the vent. Sheng was afraid that she might move the camera but fortunately, she didn't. She was smart enough to only pretend to wipe over it. Suddenly, she slipped and she fell on her back on the Mahjong table just as one of the guys shik woo.

Ep 6: Teen Shang accepts difficult job during work

Teen Shang waited for the whole night and his efforts were not wasted. Teen Shang helped Sheung Hei who had hurt her waist to apply medicated oil and this made her feel embarrassed. The next day, Sheung Hei could not stand the pain in her waist and Teen Shang had to carry her to a hospital. The doctor wanted Sheung Hei to stay in the hospital to rest and if not, she could be paralysed. Sheung Hei had no choice but to agree. Before the company抯 meeting, Teen Shang and the rest showed Pui Him and the others the video tape they had taken. To protect his son, Zhi Fai, Pui Him and the other employees who had worked in the company for a long time, decided to retire and be the company抯 consultants. Wing Zhi promoted Amy and Hong Zheng to be the officer-in-charge and assistant officer-in-charge of the transportation department and even asked Teen Shang to help both of them change the structure of the company. Sheung Hei left the hospital and went home. Teen Shang said that she need not to do any housework and asked her to let Sheung Lui be more independent. Sheung Hei was grateful.

Teen Shang was promoted to the manager of the transportation department and immediately promoted driver, Sheng Gor to be the supervisor of the drivers, Sheng Gor deeply respected Teen Shang. Hong Zheng concentrated on changing the structure of the company and to avoid being suspected of biasness, he sacked his father who was nearing retirement. Teen Shang accompanied Sheung Hei to do physiotherapy and even used delicious food to entice her to do the boring and repetitive actions. As Sheung Hei could not do manual work, she was very worried. Teen Shang brought her to his company to do temporary data entry. Zhi Fai knew that Sheung Hei was introduced by Teen Sheng and purposely made things difficult for her. When Amy saw this, she helped Sheung Hei and Sheung Hei admired Amy.

Amy pretended to be drunk and hinted that she admired Wing Zhi. Wing Zhi was unmoved and sent her home but this was seen by Hong Zheng who waited below Amy抯 house. The company held a big party. Amy gave Sheung Hei her old clothes as gown for the party and even taught her to work hard for her dreams. In the party, Sheung Hei, after make-up, attracted a lot of attention. Amy saw Hong Zheng dancing with Wing Zhi抯 second daughter, Man Si, resulting in a highlight of the party and saw Wing Zhi very close to his paralysed wife. She did not feel at ease and returned home disappointedly.

Ep 7: Man Si disturbed people while promoting company

Wing Zhi appointed his second daughter, Man Si, in charge of the public relations department to improve the image of the company. Sheung Hei used Amy as her target and even learnt the way she talked but Teen Shang did not think much of it. A foreigner asked about directions, Teen Sheng left Sheung Hei alone to deal with it. This was seen by Amy and she indicated she was impressed by Sheung Hei and even asked her to improve herself. Man Si saw that Sheung Hei often applied leave as Sheung Lui was sick and offered to help her enter the data but instead she created more problems. Teen Sheung often saw Sheung Hei working continuously to earn extra money and suggested her to continue her studies. Sheung Hei, seeing that he was praising her, felt sweet.

To promote the company, Man Si decided to shoot a promotion film. All the people thought that she was a pain in the neck and only Amy supported her. Zhi Fai was interested in Sheung Hei and tried to date her a few times. When Teen Shang saw this, he immediately helped Sheung Hei. Teen Shang arranged Lok Kin and Yat Teng to be the models for Man Si抯 promotion film but Man Si thought that they were not professional. Hong Zheng knew that Man Si was not a director and introduced a professional director for her and she would be the producer. Lok Kin saw Wing Zhi in the company and left immediately. Wing Zhi pulled her and asked her about Siu Wan抯 whereabouts. Teen Shang then discovered that Wing Zhi knew his mother.

The concept thought by Man Si for the promotion file was soundly criticised by Hong Zheng. On her own initiative, Man Si then changed the meeting time with clients for Hong Zheng and wanted him to accompany her to London to go to an advertisement exhibition. Hong Zheng furiously scolded her, Man Si cried and left. When Hong Zheng went to look for the client, he found out that Amy had already contacted the client and looked for Amy to ask her the reason. Amy frankly said that she wanted Hong Zheng to accompany Man Si to London so that she can have the things she wanted, including Hong Zheng himself. After that, they spent the night together. Amy told Hong Zheng about her sad childhood past. Hong Zheng understood that to reach her target, she was even willing to let him go near Man Si.

Ep 8: Teen Shang hit Zhi Fai because of Sheung Hei

Hong Zheng felt that the methods Amy used was frightening but Amy felt that she was only using different people at different stages to help herself to reach her target and dream. Amy indicated that Hong Zhong was a man outside her stages and this made him confused but he was unable to accept the fact that the person he loved wanted him to pursue Man Si and left angrily. Hong Zheng finally decided to get closer to Man Si and encouraged her to show some results to avoid people looking down on her. He also asked her to London to go to the advertisement exhibition, Man Si was excited. Wing Zhi found Lok Kin and both blamed each other for causing Siu Wan抯 death.

Teen Shang was selected as the person in charge of the newly formed development department and Sheung Hei became a permanent staff, they celebrated with everybody. When Teen Shang encouraged Sheung Hei to study courses to upgrade herself, Sheung Hei was knocked by others and fell into Teen Shang抯 arms. Her face turned red and Teen Shang seized the opportunity to tease her. After Hong Zheng had returned from London with Man Si, he immediately went to find Amy and told her that he had already thought things through and decided to co-operate with her. Sheung Hei had no choice but agree to Zhi Fai抯 request and treated him to dinner but seeing that something was wrong, she immediately asked Teen Shang for help and after that, Teen Shang forced her to watch a movie with her to repay him. As Teen Shang missed an appointment after going to the cinema with Sheung Hei, the next day Kiki went to Teen Shang抯 office and slapped Sheung Hei, making aware the news that Sheung Hei already had a daughter. Teen Shang furiously chased Kiki away.

Kiki will not let the matter rest and went to the Lok抯 house and threw away Shang Hei and her daughter抯 things, luckily Teen Shang went back in time to stop him. Teen Shang apologised to Sheung Hei and told her about his relationship with Kiki. Zhi Fai requested Sheung Hei to work overtime and wanted to touch her. Sheung Hei strongly resisted and looked for people to help her but in the end, Zhi Fai accused her of tarnishing his reputation when she could not threaten him. Teen Shang arrived and heard him, he furiously hit Zhi Fai and because of this was charged by Pui Him for causing injury to others.

Ep 9: Blood transfusion reveals the secret of Teen Shang抯 identity

Sheung Hei, seeing that Teen Shang was sitting on the rooftop, thought that he wanted to attempt suicide and was worried that the case of him hurting Zhi Fai may affect his future and thus felt very guilty. Pui Him forced Wing Zhi to sack Teen Shang and Sheung Hei. Amy opposed, saying that the matter had not been made clear yet. Wing Zhi managed to calm Pui Him down. Hong Zheng, Amy and Sheung Hei were discussing about Teen Shang hurting Zhi Fai and were worried about him. Contrastingly, Teen Shang appeared positive. Lok Kin went to look for Wing Zhi and blamed him for not differentiating right and wrong and even said that he would regret for his whole life if he did not help Teen Shang. Wing Zhi was suspicious and looked for Teen Shang to investigate.

Amy discovered that a cleaner can be the witness to Zhi Fai molesting Sheung Hei and discussed it with the rest. Sheung Hei was worried that going to the court may hurt Sheung Lui and Teen Shang indicated that he knew how to deal with Zhi Fai. Zhi Fai, Sheung Hei and Teen Shang reached a settlement and went to the police station to dismiss the case. As Sheung Lui did not have a father to help her do a model of a volcano unlike other students, she was troubled and Teen Shang volunteered to help her, she was the winner. After Zhi Fai reached an understanding with Teen Shang, he was treated as a sex maniac by the female colleagues and was very angry. Teen Shang sent a drunk Wing Zhi home but their car was intentionally sandwiched by two cars. Both were injured and sent to the hospital.

Teen Shang lost too much blood and had to undergo a blood transfusion. Wing Zhi discovered that Teen Shang had a rare blood type like himself and was suspicious about Teen Shang抯 identity. He asked Lok Kin whether Teen Shang was his son, Lok Kin accidentally blurted out and confirmed the relationship of both of them. The conversation between them was overheard by Amy. Wing Zhi accompanied Teen Shang to pay respects to Siu Wan and knew that he always blamed his father. When Wing Zhi wanted to tell Teen Shang who he was, he received the news that Sum Kit had fainted. Actually, Sum Kit抯 elder daughter, Man Wai opposed Man Si dating Hong Zheng and the two daughters

Teen Shang felt strange at her unusual actions. Amy learnt that Sheung Hei wanted to move away from Teen Shang抯 house, she not only agreed and even said that this could prevent gossip. Sheung Hei was influenced by her and was more determined to move house. Sheung Hei prepared a delicious 憀ast dinner

Ep 13: Sum Kit gives part of her shares to Teen Shang

Amy persuaded Teen Shang to look for Sum Kit to understand the truth of the matter, Teen Shang went to visit Sum Kit. Sum Kit told Teen Shang that Wing Zhi really loved Siu Wan and was a person who cared about relationships. Sum Kit was thankful that Siu Wan had left on her own and did not want to fight with her, she asked Teen Shang to forgive Wing Zhi. Teen Shang went to pay respects to Siu Wan and discovered that Wing Zhi had just left. Wing Zhi told Teen Shang how he fell in love with his mother, Siu Wan in the past and separated after that. Teen Shang returned home and questioned Lok Kin about the three hundred thousand Wing Zhi had left years ago and scolded him for blaming Wing Zhi to cover up for his gambling habit.

Teen Shang went to the garden alone to calm himself down, Sheung Hei hid at a corner to wait for him, Teen Shang was touched after knowing about it.

Hong Zhi went to a bar to console Teen Shang and said that he could introduce him to another logistics company for an interview. Teen Shang went for the interview and knew that if he stayed in the same line, others would want to make use of him to defeat his former company, he was hesitant. After Amy enlightened him, he decided to go back to the company but he wanted to discuss terms with Wing Zhi first, Wing Zhi agreed that he would not be biased. Teen Shang did not know about the relationship between Hong Zheng and Amy, he asked the two out to drink and celebrate going back to the company. Hong Zheng could not accept Amy抯 changing of plans, helping Teen Shang to reconcile with his father and getting close to Teen Shang but did not care about the partnership between both o them. Hong Zheng laughed coldly and said that Amy was too confident.

Sheung Hei knew that Sum Kit invited Teen Shang to join in her birthday party and did not know what present to buy. In the end, Teen Shang brought the birthday cake Sheung Hei had bought but was teased by Zhi Fai and Man Wai. Unexpectedly, Sum Kit liked it very much, Man Wai was furious, Hong Zhi quickly helped solve the matter and stood on the same side as Man Wai. During the dinner, Sum Kit, saying that she did not want to affect the profits of the company, announced that she will give three percent of the shares under her name to Teen Shang, everybody was shocked. Amy was secretly happy.

Sum Kit said that with Teen Shang holding the shares, he could take part in the meetings of the board of directors and had the right to participate. Everyone was angry but did not dare to say anything, Man Wai could only leave her seat to show her displeasure. As Teen Shang did not want to reject Sum Kit抯 well-meant intentions, he had no choice but to accept it. On the other hand, Wing Zhi was grateful to Sum Kit for treating Teen Shang well and using her actions to support him, enabling the company抯 policy to proceed smoothly. After that, Amy accompanied Teen Shang for supper and to go with Teen Shang抯 taste, ate with him at roadside stalls and shopped at Temple Street. Teen Shang returned home late at night and told everybody about Sum Kit抯 decision but decided to temporarily help her look after the shares. As Teen Shang returned home late, Sheung Hei was waiting for him and Teen Shang seized the opportunity to tease her.

Amy purposely changed the old model of her mobile phone to be a pair with Teen Shang抯. In the company, everybody thought that they matched each other, Sheung Hei was secretly worried. Wing Zhi gave Teen Shang the villa with a view of the sea which he had bought for Siu Wan years ago, although Teen Shang rejected, Wing Zhi was determined. Lok Kin helped others take bets on football to earn money. However, the banker suddenly left, Lok Kin was threatened by gangsters to pay a large amount of winnings. Teen Shang refused to borrow money from Wing Zhi for him, Lok Kin scolded him for not helping and left home. Yat Teng secretly raised the money.

The gangsters called the company to chase for the debts and affected Teen Shang抯 work. Sheung Hei suggested using her savings to help Lok Kin but Teen Shang was unwilling. Sheung Hei rejected calls looking for Teen Shang and lost a client, she was rebuked by Teen Shang. The gangsters looked for Teen Shang but Teen Shang was not afraid. Shang Hei was worried about Lok Kin抯 safety and again suggested using her savings to help but Teen Shang refused. In a thunderstorm, Amy was trapped in her car and called Teen Shang for help. Teen Shang rushed to send her home. Sheung Hei could not find Teen Shang for the whole night and did not know that Amy created trouble. She thought that he was not willing to take the calls. Amy thought of ways to make Teen Shang stay and accompany her.

Ep 15: Teen Shang borrowed money from the company to repay Amy

As the electricity was cut due to the thunderstorm, Sheung Hei and Sheung Lui only had each other and felt very lonely. Although Teen Shang was worried about Sheung Hei, as the road was close, he could not go back home. Amy, pretending to be drunk, told Teen Shang that she liked him. Teen Shang said that she was drunk and said nonsense. The gangsters found Lok Kin, hit him badly and wanted him to return the money. The next day, Teen Shang drove Amy to work and attracted gossip. Amy used the matter regarding the changing of mobile phones and purposely made the colleagues misunderstand their relationship. Sheung Hei was not happy when she heard about it and treated Teen Shang coldly.

Kiki went to the company to find Teen Shang because of Lok Kin. She could not find him and created trouble in the company. In the end, she was asked to go back by the security and because of this, Teen Shang was called a playboy. Actually, Teen Shang left earlier to find a prominent triad leader to help discuss about repaying Lok Kin抯 debts in instalments but the debts was already paid by someone. When questioning Lok Kin upon returning home, he discovered that Amy was behind it. Lok Kin thought of Amy as his saviour and gave a treat to thank her. During the dinner, Teen Shang then knew of the time when Sheung Hei was alone and there was no electricity in the building and realised that he was in trouble. Sheung Hei thought that there was something between Teen Shang and Amy and that was why Amy wanted to repay the debt for him, Teen Shang was furious.

Hong Zheng was concerned and looked for Amy to question her whether her rumours with Teen Shang was true but Amy had no good words for him. Hong Zheng was troubled and showed his temper on Man Si. After that, Hong Zheng thought through and the next morning, he immediately proposed to Man Si. To show his innocence, Teen Shang borrowed money from the company to pay back to Amy and told her clearly that he did not want to owe her anything. Amy was not pleased. Teen Shang accepted Sheung Hei抯 suggestion and moved into the big house. On the day of moving in, Hong Zheng seized the opportunity to announce the wedding between him and Man Si to protest to Amy, Amy was not willing to admit defeat and turned her attentions to Kiki. She used the excuse of introducing Kiki to be a model for a magazine and lured her into disclosing Sheung Hei抯 background.

A magazine reporter lured Kiki to talk about Sheung Hei抯 past and she seized the opportunity to create a big story, saying that Sheung Hei was young and innocent at that time and unmarried with a child, wanted to marry into a rich family with her daughter. Sheung Hei was pursued by the media and some untrue reports showed her as a bad person, her colleagues also had much to discuss about. Teen Shang wanted to bring Sheung Hei to the big house to avoid being pursued by the media but failed. In the commotion, the reporters knocked Sheung Lui, Sheung Hei was extremely furious. Pui Him and the rest again went to look for Sum Kit because of Sheung Hei抯 matter, Sum Kim was worried that Sheung Hei抯 background may affect Teen Shang negatively. Wing Zhi promised that he will settle the matter and resolve it peacefully.

Wing Zhi asked Teen Shang about the reports concerning Sheung Hei, Teen Shang believed himself and said that he would rather leave the Cai family than giving up Sheung Hei. Man Wai heard it and made him promise to keep his word by agitating him. Wing Zhi looked for Sheung Hei to understand the truth of the matter. Sheung Hei was willing to separate with Teen Shang and did not want to talk about her past and even decided to move back into her old house. Teen Shang misunderstood Wing Zhi, thinking that he had forced Sheung Hei and went to clarify with him. Sheung Hei pursued him and seeing what he said, was deeply touched. Wing Zhi engaged a private detective to investigate Sheung Hei. Finally, the truth was revealed and all the newspapers reported that Sheung Hei helped her late sister look after her daughter. Sheung Hei was shocked and did not know what to do, worried that Sheung Lui could not accept the fact. Teen Shang consoled her.

Wing Zhi gave a treat, Man Wai was subdued by Sheung Hei抯 noble character and apologised to her for her past remarks. Pui Him and the rest also apologised to her. Amy saw that her plan had failed completely and even increased the respect for Sheung Hei. In her anger, she bought a car to show her frustrations. Amy did not want her relationship with Teen Shang to be distant and used Sheung Hei to make up with Teen Shang. Teen Shang and Hong Zheng made an appointment to play tennis. Teen Shang was very caring and concerned over simple-minded Sheung Hei. Amy was even more unhappy.

Ep 17: Sheung Hei separates with Teen Shang because of Sheung Lui

Amy had a nightmare and saw that the man she loved leave with his beloved. She was troubled and after waking up, looked for Kiki to accompany her. She tried to solve her woes by drinking and told Kiki her troubles. Kiki said that she had a method to make Teen Shang return to Amy. Lok Kin and Yat Teng travelled to Europe, Sheung Hei had to go out because of work and Teen Shang was the only one left to accompany Sheung Lui. Kiki suddenly turned with a cake and wanted Teen Shang to celebrate her birthday with her. She secretly put a drug into Teen Shang抯 drinks and took pictures of them being intimate when he was not totally conscious.

Sheung Lui chased a dog in the garden and had an asthma attack. As Teen Shang was pestered by Kiki, he did not know anything. Amy arrived and saw Sheung Lui having breathing difficulties and wanted to look for Teen Shang. Sheung Lui fainted after falling down and Amy, worried that she may get into trouble, quickly left the scene. Kiki, after hearing a loud sound in the garden, went and saw that Sheung Lui had knocked her head and fainted. She was shocked and saw Amy抯 car leaving. Sheung Hei returned home and saw Teen Shang抯 photos with Amy. She was jealous and after receiving news that something had happened to Sheung Lui, immediately rushed to the hospital. As there was a blood clot in Sheung Lui抯 brain, she was in a coma and there was a big possibility that she may become a vegetable. Sheung Hei was stunned.

Kiki went to look for Amy about the matter and told her off for not saving Sheung Lui. Amy stressed that she did not go to the Lok抯 house. Sheung Hei blamed herself for falsely trusting Teen Shang and felt guilty towards her late sister. Teen Shang also blamed himself for this and both felt terrible, Amy seized the opportunity to come between both of them. Hong Zheng was taking wedding photos with Man Si but was not concentrating and threatened Amy to ask her out. Kiki followed her good friends to a village for holiday and accidentally saw Hong Zheng and Amy . After listening to their conversation, she realised that Amy had made use of her and took pictures of them being intimate. Sheung Hei refused to forgive herself and felt that she could not face Teen Shang anymore. She decided to resign and break up with him, Teen Shang was devastated.

Ep 18: Kiki blackmailed Amy and was killed

Teen Shang knew that unless Sheung Lui woke up, it would be difficult to reconcile with Sheung Hei and went to look for help from Wing Zhi and Sum Kit. Sum Kit arranged a brain specialist, Dr Ma, to treat Sheung Lui. Sheung Hei was very anxious and Amy consoled her. Amy knew that Sheung Hei broke up with Teen Shang and was secretly happy. Kiki used the photos and blackmailed Amy. To settle the matter, Amy gave her one hundred and fifty thousand. After Dr Ma discussed with Sheung Lui抯 doctor, the result was the same. Sheung Hei was disappointed and asked Teen Shang not to waste his efforts and gave her false hopes.

Amy knew that Sheung Hei would give in if Teen Shang kept pestering her and suggested helping her avoid Teen Shang. Teen Shang could not find Sheung Hei and only saw the watch she had left. Amy saw that Teen Shang could not concentrate on work and went to look for him. She scolded him and said that he should not give up everything because of Sheung Hei and again told him that she liked him. Teen Shang immediately rejected her, Amy was distressed. Kiki spent her money and generously bought gifts for her friends. Hong Zhi heard that Kiki was holding his intimate photos with Amy and quickly looked for Amy. As Amy wanted to take Sheung Hei抯 watch back from Teen Shang, she did not care about him.

Hong Zheng was outside the door and heard Amy抯 conversation with Teen Shang. He knew that Amy was again rejected by Teen Shang and told Amy that he was willing to give up their plan and wanted to be with her. Amy refused and kissed him to console him. However, Kiki, who arrived to pass them the photos, took a video of them being intimate. Amy ordered Hong Zheng to settle the matter. Teen Shang went to look for Kiki and scolded her for not caring about her grandmother at the old folks

Ep 19: Sheung Hei suddenly changed her statement in court

Amy could not find Hong Zheng and worried, she went to Kiki抯 house to find him. Sheung Hei confusedly went to her old house抯 rooftop to meet Teen Shang, Teen Shang said that on that day, Amy left without concerning about her and that was the reason Sheung Lui was not rescued in time. He advised Sheung Hei to be wary of her. Hong Zheng woke up and saw Amy just arrived. Both discovered
that Kiki was dead, Hong Zheng was stunned. Amy calmly asked Hong Zheng to
clean the scene and destroy the murder weapon. She even pretended that nothing had happened and brought him to a bar to create evidence that he was not at the scene.

Kiki抯 body was found. The owner of a small shop said that Teen Shang went there on the same day that Kiki met with mishap. Teen Shang questioned Amy whether she was there when Sheung Lui was hurt that day, Amy denied. On Sheung Hei抯 birthday, she bought a cake and celebrated alone with Sheung Lui who was in a coma. After listening to Teen Shang抯 message and seeing him wait for her in the rain outside the window, she was touched by his sincerity and agreed to reconcile with her. Yat Teng was devastated because of Kiki抯 death. Teen Shang, Hong Zheng and Amy were questioned by the police. All evidence were to Teen Shang抯 disadvantage. Teen Shang was charged with murdering Kiki. Hong Zheng was worried because of this but Amy behaved as if nothing had happened.

Wing Zhi invited a lawyer, Mr Lam, to fight the case for Teen Shang but Teen Shang only had Sheung Hei as his only alibi and the close relationship between them made Sheung Hei抯 testimony weak. Mr Lam tried to persuade Teen Shang to admit to manslaughter but Teen Shang refused. Sheung Hei went to visit Teen Shang who was detained and argued with him at first, pretending to be relaxed. Finally, she could not suppress her worry and Teen Shang consoled her. Hong Zheng did not feel good as Teen Shang was his scapegoat and scolded Amy for not feeling guilty. Wing Zhi asked Sheung Hei out and said that if the case had no questionable points, Teen Shang could not shake off his charge, Sheung Hei secretly decided what to do. Sheung Hei went to court to give her testimony and suddenly denied that she saw Teen Shang on the day Kiki met with mishap. All the people were surprised.

Ep 20: Teen Shang released without being charged Sheung Hei imprisoned

The prosecutor asked Sheung Hei why she had overridden her previous statement in court, Sheung Hei said that she was under the instructions of Teen Sheung and to cure Sheung Lui, she had no choice but to give false testimony for him. Lok Kin and Yat Teng were agitated after hearing this. Teen Shang could not sleep after Sheung Hei抯 performance in court. The next day, the defendant lawyer questioned Sheung Hei抯 new testimony and used a video tape from a close circuit television to prove that Sheung Hei was lying. Sheung Hei could only admit that she had lied to take revenge on him as he had caused Sheung Lui to be a vegetable. Teen Shang sincerely apologised to Sheung Hei and proved that their relationship was strained because of this. Teen Shang was released without charge and everyone was happy. On the other hand, Sheung Hei was charged with giving false testimony.

Amy and Hong Zheng celebrated with Teen Shang. Teen Shang stated that he would look after Sheung Lui for Sheung Hei and would not return to the company for the time being. Amy was not happy when seeing that he was still concerned about Sheung Hei and drank herself drunk. Hong Zheng asked Amy to give Teen Shang up but Amy refused to listen to him, scolded and chased him away. Sheung Hei called Teen Shang but could not find him and went to his house to look for him. Coincidentally, Teen Shang went to the hospital to find him, both missed each other. Teen Shang saw the drawing of a rainbow and knew that Sheung Hei went to the old house. He immediately went to look for her. The couple finally met again after missed opportunities. Teen Shang was grateful that Sheung Hei gave false testimony to save himself but was worried that she may be charged because of this.

From Yat Teng, Teen Shang knew that Kiki had spent a lot of money before her death and went to look for Kiki抯 friends. He wanted to know how she got that amount of money but was not successful. Teen Shang found a photo of Hong Zheng and a girl and some newspaper cuttings of Hong Zheng and Man Si抯 wedding from Kiki抯 things. He suspected that Kiki抯 death was related to Hong Zheng and told Sheung Hei. Sheung Hei advised him not to suspect his good friend. Sheung Hei was finally charged with obstructing justice and sentenced to two years

Episode 21 YCH

Tin Shang is at Lui Lui抯 bedside and apologises to Lui Lui as he is hopeless cos he could not bring Mommy to see her. However, he assures Lui Lui that he will be by her side. Tin Shang shows Lui Lui the Rainbow puzzle that Lui Lui wanted to make for Hei cos this is Hei抯 favourite puzzle. Tin Shang will arrange the puzzle on behalf of Lui Lui until Lui Lui wakes up and arrange it together.

At Shang抯 Dad抯 house. While discussing on Joey抯 preparation for her marriage and her plans for their honeymoon, Tin Shang realized that Joey has never visited the resort island which Ken & Amy visited. Therefore, Shang feels uneasy and wonders who the lady was in the picture that Kiki snapped. While Shang was leaving, he also found out that the torch light that was in Ken抯 car was not the one that he gave. This has aroused Shang抯 suspicions further.

Hence, Tin Shang suspects that Ken might be involved in Kiki抯 death and discussed it with Sai D and his uncle. While discussing with them, Tin Shang points out that Ken has motive to kill Kiki due to the photo. The uncle also reminded that Kiki was spending like nobody抯 business before her death. They analyse how Kiki might have been killed by Ken. It could be due to something that Kiki has seen and has blackmailed Ken for the money. They also wondered if Ken has used the torch lite to kill Kiki. Therefore, they need to find out if Ken has replaced the torch lite with a new one. Tin Shang & Sai D set out to a few shops to find if Ken has bought a new torch lite and even brought Ken抯 photo along. One shopkeeper recognises Ken and looked through the invoices. Found the invoice which is dated 14 June, which is next day after Kiki抯 death.

Tin Shang visits Hei at the prison to tell her about his analysis. Tin Shang really hopes that the murderer is not Ken. Hei understands and tells him not to give himself so much pressure. Tin Shang also informs Hei that his main aim after his released are to find out Kiki抯 real murderer, to prove that he is innocent and also to seek a lighter sentence for Hei抯 perjury. Hei asks if he will hand it over to the police. Tin Shang hopes that Ken will admit to him and does not want to see Ken get arrested.

Tin Shang dates Ken at the bar. Tin Shang tries to use Joey抯 name to fish out some stuff from Ken but did not suceed. Tin Shang tells Ken that Joey might not be Ken抯 choice as Ken is someone who will take challenges. So, Joey who is very simple and na飗e might not be the one that Ken likes. Tin Shang also mentions that in a relationship, both parties should be honest to each other, giving example of himself & Hei when he has done wrong towards Lui Lui抯 coma. Ken however assures Tin Shang that he will be true to Joey and will also be a good husband. Tin Shang ended the conversation by saying that he hopes that Ken will not disappoint him & Joey. At the same time, Tin Shang receives a call and tells Ken that he has to rush as he has something important to attend to. Tin Shang informs Ken that there is a new witness who might be able to identify the murderer.

Ken panics and quickly drives to the spot where Amy threw the torch lite not realizing that it is being followed by Tin Shang. Ken could not find the torch lite but found a small item which looks like a button. Tin Shang waits for his return and confronts Ken on the situation. Tin Shang accuses Ken of being the murderer but Ken denies. Tin Shang does not want to report Ken to the police but hopes that Ken will admit. However, Ken insists that he did not do anything and sped off.

Ken, Joey, Amy and their colleagues went for an outing to the resort island. Joey is busy shooting her colleague with her video cam. She hopes to practise her skills so that she could shoot some good shots during her honeymoon. Ken & Amy are in a conversation. Ken pretends & suggests that they should go pick up the thrown torch lite from the spot. Amy advises him not to as the case has been a while and it has been forgotten. While they are talking, Joey gave them a fright and warned them not to discuss office matters during the outing. Some colleagues also joins them and one of them find that Amy has a very lovely watch. At that time, Amy realizes that her jacket抯 button is missing. Ken recognises the button which is similar to the one that he picked from the spot. During all these commotion, Joey is busy shooting them.
Back at home, Joey and Tin Shang are watching the video. Tin Shang suddenly recognises the part where Joey zoomed into Amy抯 watch. Tin Shang matches it with the one that appeared in Kiki抯 photo. Tin Shang feels very troubled and called Ken. Ken refuses to meet him but Tin Shang threatens to inform Joey. Ken has no choice but to meet Tin Shang.

Tin Shangs informs Ken that he knows who the lady who is involved in the murder. It is none other than Amy Lam. Tin Shang warns Ken that Amy is not a simple person and should not trust her. However, as Ken loves Amy deeply, Ken does not believe that Amy will harm him. Tin Shang further informs Ken that Amy was present at his house when Lui Lui felt sick. Amy is a very selfish person and did not bother to help Lui Lui. Ken still stand on Amy抯 side. Tin Shang also points out that Amy might be the one who have gone back to the spot to collect the torch lite. Ken keeps saying that Amy will not treat him this way. Tin Shang feels sad that Ken kills Kiki becos of Amy as Kiki is an innocent party. Ken finally admits that he did not kill Kiki intentionally. Ken now tells Tin Shang what had happened on the nite of Kiki抯 death. Tin Shang finds that something is not right. Based on the post-moterm report, Kiki is knocked by a torch lite and also there was an injure behind her head that caused her death. Tin Shang reminds Ken to think carefully if there is anything amiss when Amy entered the murder scene. Shang urges Ken to surrender but he refuses and give Shang a punch. Ken then drove off.

Ken is at Amy抯 place. He is indeed very sad and confuse now. He sits at the gate below Amy抯 apartment over night. Joey is desperately looking for Ken but Ken switches off his handphone. It starts to rain and the thunder and rain reminds Ken of something. He then calls Shang to tell him that Amy was not wet when she entered the murder scene although it was raining heavily. Shang thinks that Amy might have killed Kiki before Ken wakes up from his unconciousness.

Ken goes to the office to find Joey in Amy抯 room. As Joey was desperate to look for Ken the night before, Joey has also sounded Amy about Ken抯 disappearance. Ken then brought Joey to a church. Ken told Joey that whenever he made mistakes, he will go to this church to confess his sins to a priest and ask God for forgiveness. Ken informs Joey that if ever there is a day that Joey finds out that he has done something very wrong, he assures her that he has no intention to harm her at all.

Ken and Shang are trying to analyse Kiki抯 death again. Ken still doesn抰 understand why Amy killed Kiki. Shang feels upset as they don抰 have enough proof to report to the police. Ken also realizes that Amy might be suspicious of him now. Ken抯 handphone rings and Amy is on the line.

Ken visits Amy at her home and pretends to inform Amy that Shang has started to be suspicious but Amy comforts him and assures him that she will help him no matter what happens. Amy also reminded Ken to keep her informed of everything.

As Amy抯 computer crashed, she stays back in the office to finish her stuff. As it is late and before she leaves, she went into Ken抯 room. She places the original torch lite that was used during the murder in Ken抯 drawer. The room light was switched on and Ken confronted Amy. (Flashback: Amy entered Kiki抯 house and found both Kiki & Ken unconcious on the floor. Amy tried to wake Ken but to no avail. Amy then searched Kiki抯 drawers and cupboards for the video cam. Kiki woke up and tried to hide her video cam. Unfortunately, it dropped out from her harversack. Amy tried to snatch it from Kiki. While snatching, Kiki slipped by stepping on the torch lite, fell and knock her head against the table). Ken accused Amy of the murder but Amy still pretended not to know what he was saying. Ken also accused Amy that she has an ulterior motive in retrieving the torch lite. Her motive is to surface the torch lite if anything happens. She will then uses this torch lite against Ken. Amy, being an evil & scheming woman tries to switch her words and turn it against Ken. She still insists that the person who killed Kiki is Ken. She keeps lying and at the same time keeps her cool by accusing Ken as the murderer. Ken feels very hurt and miserable as he loves her very much. Time after time, he tells himself that one day Amy will realize what he has done for her and reciprocates his love. But sad to say that Amy has never like him and is only using him. Ken also states that Amy is a cold blooded creature!! Amy calls security to report to the police. Ken is now quite irritated and chases after Amy. Shang appears and manages to hold Ken down. The securities also arrives and manage to keep Ken away from Amy. However, Amy is still very cruel and mean!! She still keeps blarring away by saying that Ken is the murderer. She also says that Ken has no other way to turn back because he won抰 get what he wants, i.e. he will not be able to marry Joey, he will not get her fortune. She goes on by saying that she will engage a good lawyer for him and the most he is sentenced for manslaughter. By now, Ken is already very agitated and breaks free from the securities. He goes after Amy. Amy takes a letter opener and pierces into Ken抯 hand. Ken catches hold of her and strangle her neck. He then takes the letter opener and pokes into Amy抯 stomach. Amy falls to the ground. Ken shouts aloud saying that 揑t抯 useless, only God can take her!! She deserves it!!

Amy was sent to the hospital. CID informed Tin Shang that Amy wanted to see him. In the hospital room, Amy tells Tin Shang that she has informed the police that Kiki is killed by her. Amy then started telling Shang that she doesn抰 want to be poor and does not want to see people抯 face in her job. By getting rich, she has the power and everything could be under her control. Amy also told Shang that she could look for money and power elsewhere but she chose not to leave because the person she wanted most to be with is Tin Shang. She said that she would be satisfied if Shang could treat her like Hei. She also asked Shang why couldn抰 he treat her like how he treats Hei. Tin Shang tells Amy that Hei is Hei and she is Amy. Amy then asked Tin Shang if without Hei, will he accept her. Tin Shang explained to Amy that the person Amy likes is not him but she is chasing chasing for a person in her dream, i.e. one who has money, power and can give her everything in life. However, Amy still thinks that Tin Shang is the suitable person but Tin shang again told her that it is not him as he is not as perfect as she thinks. Amy then wandered who is the person she loves with flashback of Ken & her, Tin Shang & her and she then died peacefully.

Tin Shang visits Hei in the prison to inform Hei that Amy has passed away. They felt that Amy抯 character is similar to Ken. Both Ken and Amy are chasing something that do not belong to them. It抯 a pity they do not cherish the people they have, Amy has Ken and Ken has Joey and yet they do not know what they want. Tin Shang & Hei are glad that at least both of them understand that it is better to lead a simple life like them.

Ken is sentenced to imprisonment for 8 years.

Tin Shang then visited Joey, who is doing some painting outside her house. Both Joey抯 parents are looking at her worriedly. Tin Shang informs Joey that Ken is sentenced. Joey is very upset and is venting her anger on the painting as she is very disappointed with Ken.

Tin Shang visits Ken in the prison. Tin Shang informs Ken that Joey is still angry with Ken but this means that she still loves Ken. Ken admits that he is aware that Amy never likes him but he still insisted on pleasing her but Amy is a cold-blooded person who would not reciprocate to his love. Ken felt regret for not waking up earlier. He also apologise to Tin Shang for causing Hei to go to jail. Ken felt very sad and asked if Tin Shang has ever blamed him. Tin Shang admits that he did but has asked Ken to forget about it as Ken is still his friend. (Anne: it is very touching here as Ken felt most remorseful & regret when Tin Shang said that). Ken thanks Tin Shang and says that the person he most worried about is Joey as she is a very gullible person. Joey may not be able to accept life after this incident. However, Tin Shang thinks otherwise as he feels that this would be a lesson to Joey and feels that she has been over-protected. He feels that Joey will now grow to be more mature. Ken is very grateful to Tin Shang.

The scene is now moved to the hospital room where Lui Lui is laying. Tin Shang is telling a story to Lui Lui who is still in coma. He also tells Lui Lui that he has appealed on behalf of Hei for an early release.

Back to the prison, Tin Shang is very happy to see Hei and is very eager to inform Hei that she will be released in 3 months time. However, Hei does not sound as enthusiastic as him as she said that it is still a long while. Tin Shang senses that Hei is not happy and informs Hei that he will be worried about her if something happens to her in there just like Hei told Tin Shang that she will be very worried if something happens to Tin Shang. Hei then burst into tears telling Tin Shang that she dreamt of Lui Lui and she is not able to wake up. Tin Shang quickly encourages Hei that they must have faith so that Lui Lui will wake up eventually. He also assures Hei by telling her about an article he read in the newspaper - the parents of a disease stricken child who did not give up but continue to look for a cure for the child although the doctors could not find a cure for the child. They were successful in finding the cure for the child by not giving up. Hence, Tin Shang tells Hei that they should not give up too. He also tells her that he knows that Lui Lui could hear him when he is talking to her. Tin Shang keeps reassuring Hei by placing his palm against the barrier that divides them. Hei also places her palm against Tin Shang抯 palm. Hei feels more relief after hearing these encouraging words from Tin Shang.


Tin Shang抯 Dad requests him to return to work at his company but he rejects his request. Tin Shang feels that has has more important thing to do. He prefers an ordinary job and just wanna take care of Hei & Lui Lui. He also reminds his father that besides him taking over his father抯 business, there is also another person who carrys the same surname who is capable of doing that.

Joey is seated in the church. Tin Shang found her there. Joey is surprised how Tin Shang could find her in church. According to Tin Shang, Ken has informed him that. Joey feels that she thought that life is simple as long as she likes someone and vice versa. However, life turns out otherwise. Tin Shang tells Joey that Ken is someone who will care for her. Joey then recalls that Ken has once said this to her: He never meant to hurt her no matter what happens. Tin Shang informs Joey that Ken is most worried about Joey as he is afraid that this incident will affect Joey抯 character. Joey finds that everything is too late now. But, Tin Shang tells her that nothing is too late as Joey should consider if she still loves Ken. No one can help her decide. If the answer is that she no longer loves Ken, Tin Shang agrees that she should go to France and forget whatever has happened in Hong Kong including Ken.

It is at the prison, Ken is walking out to meet his visitor and is so surprise to see Joey. Ken tells Joey that he never thought that Joey will agree to see him. He is glad that Joey visited him so that he could apologise to her personally. Joey informs Ken that Hong Kong does not suit her. Ken also agrees that Joey should not stay put in Hong Kong as so many unhappy incidents have happened to her. Joey tells Ken that her brother, Tin Shang is right to say that no matter where she is, is not important but the most important is how oneself thinks. Joey tells Ken that she has been thinking about it for a long time and concludes that she still loves Ken very much. She now understands what Tin Shang means now, one must be able to give and express it by loving someone. Ken feels that Joey has become very mature. Joey agrees that one has to grow and she will stay in Hong Kong to assist her father in his business. Joey informs Ken that they still have a long way and wish to postpone their marriage until Ken is released from prison. Ken is so shocked that Joey still thinks of marrying him. Joey said that marriage is between two persons and said that when Ken is released and still likes her and vice versa, they will then get married. (Anne: You could see how Ken feels, so appreciative of Joey for being so understanding and you could also see that he feels very regret that he has hurt Joey. This is also a very touching scene).

At the hospital, Tin Shang bought a piano for Lui Lui and demonstrated a song for Lui Lui. He also bought her swimming costume, a hat and sunglasses as it is already summer. As school reopens soon, Tin Shang also bought Lui Lui some new textbooks. Lantern festival is drawing near, Tin Shang bought lanterns for Lui Lui and also informed Lui Lui that her Mommy will be released soon. Hence, Tin Shang urged Lui Lui to wake up soon. Tin Shang then continues to fix the puzzle and found that one piece is missing and told Lui Lui that he will try to look for the missing piece no matter what to complete the puzzle.

Tin Shang ransacks his whole house looking for the piece of missing puzzle. His cousin and uncle also help him to search for it. Tin Shang also looks through Lui Lui抯 toys in the garden but could not find it. Tin Shang receives a call from Joey. He goes to Amy抯 apartment where Joey and a few other lady colleagues are packing Amy抯 stuff. Joey informs Tin Shang that the bank has sold Amy抯 apartment, hence, they are packing Amy抯 stuff for charity houses. Amy does not have any relatives nor other friends. While a lady colleague is carrying out some of Amy抯 clothes, a jacket falls off the pile and the missing puzzle drops out from the pocket. Tin Shang volunteers to pick it up and is surprised to see the puzzle.

Tin Shang goes to pray to Amy and informed her that he has been doubting if Amy has gone to his house when Lui Lui had a mishap. Now, seeing the puzzle, it has confirmed that Amy was indeed present at his place. Tin Shang tells Amy that she has now returned the most important thing, i.e. the piece of puzzle to Lui Lui and therefore no longer owes Lui Lui. He even thanked Amy for allowing him to find the puzzle.

Tin Shang fixes the last piece of the puzzle and tells Lui Lui excitedly. He urges Lui Lui to quickly get up so that they could fetch Seong Hei together. Tin Shang accompanys Lui Lui almost the whole day and apologises to Lui Lui that he has tried very hard but Hak Ye Choi Hoong did not appear. No matter how hard he tried, miracles do not happen. Tin Shang is devastated and is crying looking at Lui Lui (it then focus on Lui Lui抯 finger which has a movement).

The scene now shows Tin Shang is waiting at his car, waiting for Seong Hei抯 release from the prison. Tin Shang & Hei are so glad to see each other and walk happily towards each other into a big hug. Hei informs Tin Shang gladly that they need not talk through a barrier. Hei is very eager to meet Lui Lui but Tin Shang stops her saying that he is not sure if he should tell her this
