Tina memang nak cari buku tentang developmental stimulation ke?
Akak ada a few books tapi tak tahu yang mana patut recommend....
Akak banyak baca buku2 by Glenn Doman.
Walaupun tak 100% pro Glenn Doman...tapi just to get basic idea. Akak modify sendiri ikut kesesuaian dengan anak. (chewah...selamber je....:bgrin . Not necessarily applicable to all.

kak fie, selepas baca byk2 buku tue, boleh kak fie share tak, perkembangan anak kak fie mcm mana..based on theory2 yg derang ajo dalam buku tue......plus yg kak fie dah modified sdirik ikot kesesuaian anak..... |

Bestnya lepak kat kedai buku...
By and large, diorang punya response/acceptance to all the stimulations varies. One method doesnt fit all.
Memang tak boleh expect tinggi sangat untuk anak-anak bertindakbalas macam dalam buku.
Tapi memang kena stimulate...kalau tidak kita tak tahu how far their potential is. Anak-anak memang uniquely akan ada certain areas yang kita kena push.
Satu perkara kena ingat stop expecting them to be perfect, because they will never be. Nobody will.
Akak pun banyak benda jugak tak buat sebenarnya....:nyorok:

heh..heh....anak akak pun ada yang tak berjaya...itu yang kena modify ikut mood anak tu.
Ikut je lah cara anak honey...tak yah rigid sangat. Tak ramai budak yang boleh sit still dengar "lecture"
Come up with your own style...tailor made to suit you child. Itu lagi baik. Kalau kita dah banyak membaca insyAllah kita tahu which area to tackle, apa yang kita patut concern...jadi tak lah blur sangat sampai akhirnya apa pun tak dibuat untuk bantu anak. Betul tak?

Approach dia menarik, layout pun ok.

tentang children do not need more choices tu maksudnya lebih kurang : kalau kita bagi terlalu banyak choices serupa jugak macam bagi terlalu banyak power pada diorang dan melemahkan power kita sebagai boss. Jadi untuk umur 9 tahun kebawah tak payahlah bagi banyak sangat pilihan. Banyak sangat choices atau freedom ni akan create more anxiety sedangkan budak-budak umur tu belum bersedia lagi untuk pikul. Jadi kita sebagai parents kenalah lebih peka dengan perasaan, kehendak,keperluan dan cara anak-anak kita supaya kita tahu apa yang terbaik buat anak-anak kecil tu. Tapi at the same time kita dengar jugak pendapat diorang dan be flexible. Apa pun kita still boss.
Kalau dipikirkan betul jugak...kita orang dewasa ni pun kalau ada banyak pilihan selallunya kita jadi lebih confuse. Akak selalu jadi cam tu. Banyak situasi akak wish I dont have that many choices sebab lagi senang nak buat keputusan. Tak tahulah orang lain mcm mana. |

miriam stoppard is good. i would recommend everyone to get that book. hmmm buku apa lagi? normally we share experience je amongst mothers. i selalu gi mum's group & playgroup... & masuk australian multiple birth punya association. so we always give support to one another. and boleh la the kids interact & play together-gether....... |

Satu benda yang akak miss tentang downunder, the salvation army shop...Akak banyak beli good parenting/child development book kat situ at very low prices. Itu yang menambahkan lagi koleksi buku-buku kat rumah. |

i selalu derma barang kat SAVO if i malas nak jual on eBay. tak pernah pulak beli barang from there tho. but mmg books here are soooo cheap. every month musti beli buku. tak kira la buku budak ke, my book ke, my hubby's book ke.... |

Akak pun beli buku je kat situ. Barang lain tak pernah beli. My husband pulak gila novels. Bila balik dari sana buku je berkotak-kotak.
