Tak tau lah kalau ada yg masih minat dgn buku2 enid blyton ni. I remembered during my primary n kindergarden.. i used to read and collect so many of enid blyton's books. Mcm2 tajuk..english and ada jugak yg telah ditranslate ke bahasa melayu. Tak tau apa mengong sgt..i bagi buku2 tu semua masa we all nak pindah rumah. Skrg i really appreciate if i could collect back all the books..i dah start buat beli n buat collection ckit2 n rite now trying to educate my children to read e.blyton's book. walaupun i dah jadi mak org tapi i still read this collection..tak tau lah..it just feel like the old time.. The way dia olah cerita buat i rasa yg i'm the one experiencing the story.

Lagi satu..i really love agatha christie punya buku esp on hercules poirot. the way dia solved the mysteries..very intersting..ada sesiapa yg ada buku2 enid blyton and agatha chrisie n want to sell it to me? I'm interested..but please state the tittle..manalah tau yg ada tu dah ujud dlm collection i.

sorry,kalau dah ada yg bukak topic ni..but i was so impressed with these two authors..

sama lah kita.

koleksi agatha christie saya dah lengkap.mengambil masa jugak nak kumpul.

koleksi enid blyton-citer panjang dah lengkap.

setiap kali saya baca buku agatha christie, saya mesti nak habiskan cepat2 pastu saya cuba kenalpasti siapa pembunuh dalam sesebuah citer berdasarkan clue2 yang dia bagi.ada yang betul dan ada yang salah tekaan saya.tapi bila salah teka, saya selalunya impress dengan solution yang agatha terangkan.saya mesti tepuk dahi dan kata '"ya tak ya"...

setiap kali saya baca buku enid blyton pula, saya selalu rasa selesa-bila saya demam atau sakit,buku enid blyton lah yang saya akan baca coz saya rasa sungguh menenangkan...almost like 'pain killer'.

saya amat menyukai kedua2 penulis ni.:love:

julian dean georgina and anne + tommy ( i think thats
the doggie's name - cant remember)

all the malory towers
( first year till form six)

the twin at st claire's
(first year till final year)

best enid blyton ni ---
masa sekolah rendah tu -  nak masuk boarding school
sebab baca  malory towers and st clare's

so masa kat boarding school -- picnic tengah malam la -
macam2 --  ikut macam cerita tu ---  seronok pulak...

tapi - tu zaman tok kadok --
sekarang - tak baca dah enid blyton

agatha christie  kadang2 layan gak --

btw  also masa teenager dulu
suka baca  nancy drew and hardy boys..

Enid Blyton is a good storyteller to me though a lot of critics argues that the writings are just too simple. But to me that is the strength of her books, it is simple to read and for children, a good introduction to English and storywriting. I lost most of my books and i agree such books should be collected once more. Even the Malay translation by Adibah Amin is a good piece of literary.

As to Agastha Christie i admit i've heard the name countless times but only since married to LuckyStar did i started to read it. Hence i can't comment much.

But one thing is for sure, both authors works will be introduced to my children. Somehow i feel my childhood would not have been complete without Enid Blyton's books...

enid blyton masa sekolah dulu, suka baca yang alihbahasa... 5 sekawan, kisah pokok ajaib, sekolah seri melur (malory tower and st clair) :lol

but then, when i was about 10 years old, i started reading enid blyton in english..
tapi siri sekolah seri melur tu tetap nak beli yang bahasa melayu.. :lol
dulu masa sekolah pakat2 dengan kawan beli buku-buku enid blyton, harga pun murah.. tak sampai rm 3 untuk satu novel nipis..

but then sadly, not most people love to read enid blyton in english, they still prefer the alih bahasa one...

i dont think i want to sell these gems of mine to anyone but still u can get used and cheaper books from any local used/rent bookstore.i suggest u to go to rent bookstore in Central Market.there's lots of agathas' books inthere with half or even quarter of original price.what a bargain.:hatdown:

aku pun membesar dgn buku2 enyd blyton ni... mula2 tu aku lebih byk pinjam kat library buku2 alih bahasa... n the 1st english novel yg aku khatam masa standard 4.. The Naughtiest Girl in The School.. best sgt.. pas tu aku buat koleksi buku2 ni.. sekarang tak tau maner perginya...

lepas ni aku nak start buat koleksi balik utk anak2 aku.. sambil aku tumpang baca.. satu lagi aku minat kat koleksi cite Hans Anderson Cristian.. juga koleksi aku masa zmn kanak2 dulu..

I love enid blyton. english aku byk improve baca blyton.mula2 baca time kecik2 dulu i thought that blyton was a guy.rupa2nye a lady.hehehe.i heard that she's not very close with her children.an irony, that.

agatha christy has excellent plots.love the title 'murder on a halloween'.or what was it called..i forgot.and another one 'cat among pigeon'.wonderful.
