Bleh ker guna straight cable untuk PC ke PC?

yang aku tau MESTI guna crossed cable untuk PC ke PC @ HUB to HUB
dan Straight cable untuk PC ke HUB/SWITCH.

Ayark! Triple post skaligus!

Nih maklumat yang aku dapat:
Q: I have a question about crossover cable vs. normal cable, if we connect to computer directly, we need a crossover cable,
but today I tried thison several computers, they could communicate just using a normal CAT5 cable direct connection,
     do you know why?

A: If your using Gigabit NIC's then they will be auto MDI/MDX.  Basically that means the interface will sense the cabling and adjust.
If they are not GigE then they must still be Auto sensing MDI/MDX, just 10/100NIC's assumably.

You see this in most contemporary switches as well.  It really makes no  difference whether you use a straight through or
    X-over cable on them.
The port identifies and configures itself to whatever is being plugged into it.  A standard switch port is crossed by default.
When you plug a X-over cable into it, it simply switches to a straight through cabling configuration.
