That is because they do not have represetatio in parliment.  In India Muslims are minorities but they have equal rights as any and mind you the President of India is a Muslim. Do not speak of immigrants who are not even the first generation yet which comon sense would tell you that they have do with what is given to them. You are a making your own story without even understanding what I said. It is clear you are out to provoke the sentiment fo your Muslims friends here. I repeat hee what I said earlier. Muslims like MENJ and others had complained that it is a nuisance during the Thaipusam festival where others have difficulty as the roads are blocked. To this I pointed out that it only happens once a year but we are tolerating it every week on Fridays all throughout. So if we can tolerate so can you. Do you understand this or you need a feeding bottle to stop your crying? So, next time do not ask stupid questions and be smart in your approach to proof that you have brains.

i believe salam03 was right..i once read it in a book..a friend of mine own it..that book is from our university where students from arabic school or religious school must study and do research about other religions other than islam but i'm only from an ordinary school,so i just have to take "understanding islam" subject..so in my friend's book,it is said that hindus had somehow mentioned in their holy books related to prophet Muhammad..

for obersliutenant.. this is an islamic country..and don't you learn history of malaysia that you're not allowed to question any of the laws about the power or authorities given to malay..i mean hak-hak istimewa org melayu.. islam sbg agama rasmi.. you have no rights to complain.it is so lucky of u and other races that we,malay,let u to live in here..have u noticed that,is there any malays in india?or in china? look at indians in their own country,how poverty is spreading rampantly..indians here live happily and some of them is very rich..look at china,communism..communist took all their wealth and they are not allowed to keep their own savings..malaysian government is not that bad and you're still given your rights to own things..so keep your mouth shut about questioning why azan can be send loud..etc..

Dear Pearl,

To begin with, i am Malay and im Muslim , and i think youve mistaken your judgement, i did not question why the azan can be sent aloud and such...i was trying to make barney understand that being in Malaysia with a country of diverse cultures and religion, we have to understand and make compromises for one and other , each others beliefs. And Where Did i ever question that Islam being the official religion? please show me?

If compared in light of  fair and rational scrutiny , i do believe that n islamic form of governance manages to fulfill this test. However, i beg to differ dear pearl, that you claim that we are not allowed to question the government, in that sense, i strongly disagree, we are entitled to rights especially freedom of speech .. however i support the view that freedom of speech should only be granted to those with fair and Truth comment.  Where is truth if youre not allowed to question ? To this additon , socialism has many branches dear friend, not just communism and btw, i am in complete disagreement with communism in many aspects.

... and when we make mistakes dont we need someone to tell us that we went astray and guide us to right path? likewise, sometimes leaders too make mistakes, should we not do the favour in guiding them if certain policies are not working? isnt that our responsibility and right as the rakyat ? This is democracy Pearl, welcome to the 21st century..
