Parnaby explains Birmingham City decision

[Stuart Parnaby has explained his reasons for moving to Birmingham City Football Club.]

The Middlesbrough defender leaves the Riverside Stadium after making 127 first team appearances for the Teesside club, after agreeing to sign for the Blues at the end of his Boro contract.

揟he time had come for me to make a fresh start at a new club and I decided to join Birmingham after meeting Steve Bruce," said Parnaby. "He spoke really highly of all the lads and what a big club it is.

"Everything was really positive and once I'd spoken to him I knew what I wanted to do. I'd been at Boro since I was a 10-year-old so I thought it was a good time for me to make a new start and hopefully I can prove to the Birmingham fans what sort of player I am."

Birmingham to move for Liverpool striker?

[Newly-promoted Birmingham are in the hunt for Liverpool striker Anthony Le Tallec.]

Le Tallec is due back at Anfield following a loan spell with French outfit Sochaux.

The young striker is desperate to prove himself in the Premiership but has little chance of breaking into the first team at Liverpool.

Steve Bruce is thought to be monitoring the situation and could launch a season-long loan bid for the talented Frenchman.

Birmingham After Djourou?

Birmingham City are being linked with a loan move for Arsenal defender Johann Djourou.

The Swiss youngster enjoyed an impressive first full season at the Emirates Stadium last season but is behind William Gallas and Kolo Toure in Arsene Wenger抯 defensive pecking order.

Birmingham have had much success signing players on loan from the Gunners, with Nicklas Bendtner, Fabrice Muamba and Sebastian Larsson all impressing in the Championship last season.

The latter two have now made their moves permanent and could be reunited with Djourou if the Blues decide to pounce.

Wenger is apparently keen to give the youngster more first-team action and may welcome the move.

bukan brentner, muamba, larsson jer..dulu siap amik upson n pennant from arsenal..

Tottenham Hotspur striker set for Blues move?

[Mido has been linked with a move to Birmingham City Football Club.]

The Egyptian international had a successful eighteen-month loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur, which persuaded Martin Jol to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent deal from Roma last summer.

However, last season was a nightmare for the striker, with the form of Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe ensuring he barely had a look in with the Londoners.

Mido admits it was a mistake to make the transfer permanent, and he may be interested to hear Steve Bruce is lining up a
