Downgrade?...takkan rusia nak downgrade equipment sendiri, btw klu syria pakai, it is the best platform for russia to really testing their system mcm amerika buat...lagipun masa ni lah russia nak buat "hidden promotion" utk negara2 pemerhati....

Never trust Arab media.
During the iraq war, they were reporting how much Saddam hammering americans until they couldn't hide the truth anymore. My Arab fren from Egypt told his sons not to trust Arab media so they won't risk disapointment. He was right.

My suggestion to you msians is, do not trust arab media too.

Well does that include Mao's guerrilla campaign braniac or Viet Cong's campaign; isn't it stating the obvious that guerrilla warfare is a prelude before there is concentration of force to conduct conventional campaign where it is decisive. The concept itself is erroneous since it is only used when one belligerent is less capable to openly face its adversary on even grounds.

Viet Cong itself did not do the job, it was the NVA with their tanks and 130mm artilley that did it.
If you study the Vietnam War, the VC was essentially crushed after the Tet Offensive.
There was no VC units at the victory parade.

study the vietnam conflict again Deb.... it may not win the war officially but warfare & politics go hand in hand... why u think the Allies broke p immediately after the fall of berlin? politics laa...

the point is that the guerilla tactics greatly helped achieve the North Vietnamese objectives...

most guerilla wars in fact did not succeed but failed. Thats my point.

Russia never gives downgraded version of weapornary to its customer, for example Malaysia gives a plenty of choice to customize it MIG-29N and also SU-30MKM with equally or more sophicated compare to Russia airforce counterpart.

But, if Soviet Russia era, most its weaponary is downgraded.

Russians don't give their customers downgraded equipment because their equipment is the bare minimum, no frills. Lots of problems and from what I heard, poor customer support.

Agree..pokoknya berapa RM atau USD yg customer willing to pay theRussian arms manufacturers...But in the case of strategic assets likethe s400, the russian may want to reserve some capabilites in casecompromised to the western agents...mana tahu buatnya terjual rahsiakpd Mossad...
