I think the dress designed by jovian looks good but somehow dah a bit cliche' ...if he claims to have some sort of connotation to kebaya.... i don't think so..... just take a look at some of Rizalman's dress inspired by kebaya...... especially the one for bridal 2005 u can see a good fusion of these two elements without neglecting the strong distinctive element of kebaya...... there are fine lines between these two..... bukan apa even dress biasa without claiming infusing with kebaya pon banyak design macam tu...... in many cases I don't think there should be constraint of just having national costumes used to make it distinctively malaysian....there are many other elements....she could have adrned her head with cucuk sanggul or pakai keronsang in between the top..... baru nampak a strong resemblence to kebaya...... honestly it's very Givency dress for audrey hepburn..... nak lari dari stereotype and innovative is good tapi jangan claim for the sake of being original...... even Rizalman's shocking ideas to kebaya worn with jeans in early day or his interpretation of kebaya and moulin rouge pon still ada strong elements of kebaya but in a very elegent and classy way.......

tapi bagi aku baju jovian lg ctik klau nk dibandingkan ngan baju ciptaan RR tu..mcm ibu rama2 je klau pkai

nak ikutkan design jovian tu is nothing much to shout about. lebih pada quality of the material used. sekarang ni dia kira IN sebab tulah ramai artis pergi kat dia. design dia plain aje, kalau dia orang tak sebut ciptaan siapa, tak siapa pun tau. new malaysian designers yg ciptaan boleh buat orang notis rasanya hatta dolmat & rizalman. sentiasa ada kelainan.
