Tima kasih. Wah panjang lebarnye penerangan. Bukan senang nak beli keta kat Spore ye. Barulah den paham.

Kat Aussie ni kalau tak silap, masuk kedai pilih keta yg nak. Kalau ada dlm stock dlm 2-3 hari dah dpt. Jarang nak tunggu2. Lepas tu kalau nak loan, dealer boleh kenalkan atau cari sendiri. Our first car beli cash and our second car beli hutang. Apply loan dari our usual bank dlm 15 minit dah lulus dan the next day dah boleh dpt kereta. Begitulah ceritanye. Kena bayar gst dan tukar nama, kena ambik insurance at least third party (kalau tak silap). Tu je lah. Tapi the major killer kat sini ialah minyak dan maintenance. My husband maintenance tak risau sangat sbb dia boleh DIY. Kalau hantar ke kedai nak repair ke apa kekdg, spare part tak seberapa tapi workmanship yg giler. So sapa2 yg ada BMW X5 tu, bila rosak, be prepared to cut one of your leg. Itu comment kawan husband I. Giller .....

Mmg gitu. Kalau continental car, nak beli spare part mahal, bebaloi lah kalau workmanship nak tukar benda tu pun mahal. Ni kkdg keta biasa je, sparepart murah tapi workmanshipnye teramat lah mahal.

Ada sekali tu my husband nak tukar entah apa benda kat keta dia. Beli sparepart tak sampai AU$80. Tapi bila tanya berapa diaorang charge kalau suruh kedai tu buat, diaorang kata diaorg charge $80-100 per/hr. At least nak 2-3 jam. Haru jugak lah.

Lagi satu cerita jenaka. We ada satu BMW lama. Dah 20 tahun lebih umurnye. Beli $1800. Satu hari my husband langgar kangaroo on his way to work. Sikit punya susah gak lah nak cari ganti sbb kat sini tak banyak kedai potong kereta. Finally dpt satu. Harganye $250. Biasalah bila tanya berapa upah nak ganti. Org tu ckp harganye lah. Terus tak jadi. Sbbnye lebih mahal dari harga kereta tu. So now that old beemer tersadai kat belakang rumah I. Entah bila lah my husband nak pasang balik bumper dia. Engine dan body kereta tu masih elok.

Untuk All Singaporean, kalau migrate atau study kat Western Australia, tak yah ambik on the road test kalau nak convert lesen Singapore to WA licence. Cuma ambik test undang2.

Bagi Malaysian dan Brunei, tak se lucky Singaporean. Bila nak convert lesen kena ambik balik on the road test dan test undang2

Lain2 state di Australia, lain keperluan.

ala.... biasa laaa tu..... alex memula bawak kete dulu (lepas abah beli kancil).... baper kali kena jerkah ngan abah time memandu.... "apa memandu dekat2 sangat nie??"  "eh berenti berenti.... lampu dah merah tu!!"   sampai merajuk2 - x nak bawak kete kalo abah duduk kat sebelah.....   alex ckp ngan abah " abah nie - buat org heart attact tau" ..... ye laaa.... masa memula drive dulu - mata asyik pandang depan je..... duduk pun stret je.... rigid je.... mata x berani nk alih ke tpt lain....   nk tgk side mirror pun x berani   punya laa concentrate kat jalan je..... tetiba kena jerkah! mau x terkejut!! sakit jantung aku.....

adoi laaaa.....

ala v..... try laaaa..... pelan2.... mcm alex dulu - memula bawak area rumah je..... pas tu... bawk jauh sikit.... tapi make sure - kena ada co pilot laaa kat sebelah..... so, kita x gabra sangat......

alex dulu pun, tiap kali abah suruh bawak kete - rasa cam kena hukuman gantung

Bukan tak valid, tapi cuma tak iktaraf. Maybe kitani2 dari Brunei dan Mesia bawak kereta mcm Schumacher tak.

Walaupun kena ambik road test, procedure nye beza ngan new learners. New leaners ni kena entah berapa jam on the road baru boleh ambik test. Untuk foreigner pulak, ambik undang2 test. Kalau pass boleh terus buat road test dan tak yah pakai P licence unlike new learners.
