SAMUEL ETO扥 last night revealed he snubbed Tottenham because they are a 搈id-table? club.
And he put Chelsea on red alert by saying he IS considering a move to Inter Milan.
In a statement certain to infuriate Spurs boss Juande Ramos and delight Arsenal fans, the Barcelona ace explained why he did not fancy White Hart Lane.
Spurs ? who finished 11th last season ? targeted Eto抩 but realised he was out of reach both in terms of his ?llion-a year-wages and the ? fee Barca want.
Eto抩, 27, said: 揟ottenham, and I hope the English excuse me for saying this, is a club in the middle of the table and I need more.?
The Cameroon ace is a Chelsea target ? but insisted he is considering a move to Jose Mourinho抯 Inter.
He said: 揑 have a contract with Barcelona until 2010 and I feel well here. But I cannot exclude the option of Inter.?
Eto抩 also had a dig at axed Barca boss Frank Rijkaard ? one of the candidates for the manager抯 job at Chelsea.
He insisted Nou Camp stars have not been prepared to 搑un? for Rijkaard ? and that is why the Catalan giants flopped since winning the European Cup in 2006.
Eto抩 said: 揟echnically we were very strong but if you don抰 run you抮e dead. We were not prepared to run and we抳e lost two seasons.?
That suggests the striker would not get on with Rijkaard at Chelsea.
And that may force Blues to scrub either Eto抩 or the Dutchman from their hitlist.

Revolusi Ramos akan melanda Tottenham. Akhbar The Sun di London laporkan, Pengurus kelab Tottenham Hotspur, Juande Ramos, akan buang paling kurang 16 pemain sebagai persiapan musim depan untuk menggugat saingan empat pasukan teratas EPL yang selama ini didominasi Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal dan Liverpool.
Pemain yang dijangka menjadi korban Revolusi Ramos ialah Paul Robinson, Pascal Chimbonda, Michael Dawson, Anthony Gardner, Young Pyo Lee, Steed Malbranque, Teemu Tainio, Kevin Boateng, Younes Kaboul, Hossam Ghaly, Adel Taarabt, Darren Bent, Paul Stalteri, Ricardo Rocha dan Robbie Keane, manakala Dimitar Berbatov mungkin akan meninggalkan kelab itu.

Aku dah senaraikan pemain yang sudah dibeli oleh Ramos di blog Gooooooooool!!!. Ada enam pemain yang Hotspur beli. Rasanya antara kelab yang paling aktif dalam EPL beli pemain baru. |

Antara sebab di sebalik korban Revolusi Ramos:-
Paul Robinson - lepas banyak kali buat kesilapan di pintu gawang, Ramos tentu mahukan penjaga gol yang boleh dipercayai untuk jaga gawangnya. Tengok saja Tottenham antara kelab yang paling banyak bolos dalam musim lalu. Nasib baik banyak juga jaring. Kalau tak, ntah-ntah tersingkir!
Darren Bent - antara pemain mahal yang mengecewakan. Ini antara percaturan Martin Jol yang tidka menjadi.
Robbie Keane - dengan Liverpool mengintai-intai, tentu lebih baik Ramos jual dan beli pemain baru.
Dimitar Berbatov - korang rasa dia ni pernah ada minat ke nak main kat Tottenham? |
