A photoshoot on the rooftop with fresh winds
Ikuta Toma
Ikuta was on the cover of POTATO alone for the first time. During the shoot,the cameraman set the camera right next to Ikuta’s face and requested“Push the button!” For a moment he was bewildered and went “Eh!?” buthe shyly answered the request. Which is the super close up shot. Weused it in the actual pages, but can you tell which one it is? Also,since it was a photoshoot on a rooftop, everyone there felt united,“Everyone make sure you don’t fall!” (laughs)

[top right] Another version of what we used. He looks good looking natural!
[bottom right] Another version of the extra pin-up poster. This one’s cool too.
[left] Right after we said “Photoshoot’s over;” it’s cute how he neatly seats himself like that.
