Ubuntu is available for PC, 64-Bit PC and Intel-based Mac architectures. At least 256 MB of RAM is required to run the alternate install CD (384MB of RAM is required to use the live CD based installer). Install requires at least 4 GB of disk space.

cuma pendapat sendiri, since architechture intelformac 64-bit kan?

mungkin ada forumer lain yg lebih tau, boleh bagitau.

Dulu tu bila? 5 tahun lepas ke?

Kalau ikut pengalaman aku pakai Ubuntu ni, ada dua jenis hardware aje yang dia takde driver:
1) Hardware zaman dinosaur
2) Hardware yang pembuatnya tak release dia punya driver

Biasanya dalam setiap CD Ubuntu ni, ada satu program nama WUBI (Windows UBuntu Installer) untuk ko install Ubuntu tanpa kacau ko punya Windows. Kalau nak try Ubuntu tengok serasi atau tidak, boleh la cuba dulu. Kalau dah puas hati, baru pakai terus...

Command dia ni boleh dicari dengan google aje. Command ni cuma berguna kalau ko nak pakai command line interface melalui Terminal. Kalau ko jenis yang GUI punya orang, ko takkan terasa pun kepentingan command.

Antara command yang basic:
mkdir - cipta directory baru
mv - pindah file/folder dari satu lokasi ke lokasi lain
rm - delete kasi hilang file/folder
ls - kasi list semua file dalam directory

Yang lain boleh cari sendiri...

Prinsip Ubuntu ni adalah Linux For Human Being. So, untuk newbie, ko tak perlu masuk Terminal pun. Cukup pakai GUI aje. Kalau nak update, Ubuntu ada sediakan Update Software punya application. Kalau nak application (games, text editors, graphic manipulation etc), Ubuntu ada dia punya repository sendiri...

Ada pape masalah, boleh tanya kat sini atau kat Ubuntu punya official forum...

Buat masa ni, aku tak cadangkan guna Ubuntu 10.04 sebab grafik dia masih tak berapa cantik (walaupun dia laju). Kalau nak cantik, pakai Ubuntu 9.10 atau 9.04 dulu...
