CNBLUE visit Taiwan, members expose each other’s secrets
Korean boy band CNBLUE visit Taiwan for the first time. A press conference was held today to celebrate their new album winning double platinum. And the members played quick question and answer game. Leader Jung Yonghwa exposed his bandmates’ secrets and made fans laugh out loud.
It’s CNBLUE’s first visit to Taiwan. They play quick quiz in the press conference this afternoon, members joke about others, exposing little secrets. Bassist Lee Jungshin is asked how he feels about the other members. He says guitarist Lee Jonghyun has a bright personality. As for Kang Minhyuk, he doesn’t has special feelings for they have been good friends.
Lee Jungshin says Jung Yonghwa is just like his hyung. Before he can continue, Jung Yonghwa explains his answer. He says Lee Jungshin's saying this means he just doesn't have any charm. He tells Lee Jungshin, "I didn't have much feelings about you when I first saw you anyway, except that you're tall!"
Jung Yonghwa is known to be fashion-trend sensitive and so is asked which member spends most time dressing up before going out. Jung Yonghwa says he considers much even picking a matching accessory, but he isn't the one who spends most time. He reveals that though Lee Jonghyun doesn't bother to choose outfits and stuff, he is always the one who gets ready the latest.
CNBLUE are asked which member cries most often. All agree that Minhyuk does. They say for most people, if one knocks one's foot at a table leg accidentally and feels hurt, one would just hold the foot and shout a bit. But Kang Minhyuk will go lie on his bed and cry as he complains about the pain. Kang Minhyuk rebuts that it's not that he likes crying, it's just that his tears just flow out naturally.
One of the top boy bands from Korea CNBLUE arrived at Taiwan last night(22/9) at 6:30pm. There were about 900 fans waiting at the airport for them and the airport has to assign a lot of staff to ensure the safety of the airport. This is the 1st time for the 4 boys to visit Taiwan together and at the same time, it is mid-autumn festival at the time being, they have tasted some mooncakes and drew pictures on the grapefruits to experience the mid-autumn festival in Taiwanese sense.CNBLUE has just debuted in Korea for about 200 days but their 2mini-albums have already garnered the first place on various musicc harts of Korea and Taiwan. Both albums have gained the plantinum album awards. The boys are so thankful about the warm support given by their Taiwanese fans. Minhyuk has a Taiwanese auntie so he came to Taiwan to attend a wedding ceremony last year and he said Taiwan has left a very deep impression on him. What he cannot forget is the gourmet at Shilinnight market. Moreover, the reporters also asked Yonghwa why he wore 2 rings at the same time in the press conference, he said that one is the couple ring that he bought with SNSD Seohyun since they are the‘couple’ in ‘We got married’. The 4 boys are going to have their signing event and showcase in order to have a close contact with theTaiwanese fans. They are now very excited and want to meet their fansas soon as possible.
When CNBLUE arrived at the arrival hall of the airport last night,their handsome but kind appearance coupled with their non-stop fanservice (waving hands to fans to express their gratitude) made the 900fans who came from different counties very excited. Although the airport has assigned nearly 100 staff for the sake of keeping order but they could not resist the enthusiastic fans. The CNBLUE members who have been using their official Twitter actively have not forgotten to tweet before they departed from Korea and arrived at Taiwan. They havealso greeted their fans ‘Happy Mid-Autumn Festival’. When asked how they feel in Taiwan, the 4 big boys said with great happiness, “we have never thought that there would be so many fans waiting at the airport for us and we are moved!” Ever since Minhyuk came to Taiwan, he can never forget the gourmet and ‘xiao long bao’ (note: a traditional Chinese bun which has fresh pork or crab meat in the middle)and he has been recommending the beef noodles of Taiwan as well. The leader Yonghwa has heard of both positive and negative comments about the ‘smelly Tofu’ (Note, it is a kind of Chinese traditional food that you can buy on the streets)so he wants to taste it himself. When talked about their dormitory life, they revealed that Minhyuk is extremely tidy and whenever he sees there are some places which are in disorder, he will clean and tidy upcertainly. And Yonghwa pays a lot of attention to his look. If he is not satisfied with his clothes he wears that day, he will think that everything will go wrong on that day then. At last, Yonghwa was asked why he was wearing 2 rings at the same time, he admitted frankly thatone is the couple ring that he had promised to wear with Seohyun of SNSD in ‘We got married’. Since he is afraid that he might lose th ering, he always wear it. He even praised the good eyesight of the reporters for they had even noticed such a small thing.
CNBLUE has just finished their Japanese Live Tour with all of theseats were filled. After the Japan tour, they flew back to Korea and in less than 24 hours, they immediately flew to Taiwan. After they arrived here, they had just took a little rest before they headed to film the ‘Music Craze’ music show. They then worked until 12:00AM but they did not complain of any tiredness! This is the first time that they had the mid-autumnfestival in Taiwan and it was also the first time that they saw ‘ManDan’ (Taiwanese grapefruit) , they played and smelled them and also followed the tradition to draw on the grapefruits. They also tasted some moon-cakes. They all said‘Delicious!’ in Chinese. Moreover, Yonghwa became very popular inTaiwan for the drama ‘You are beautiful’, the MC asked him to show us his most charming expression. Yonghwa then tried his best to kill with his eyes before the camera. The protagonist of 5 Taiwanese idols drama Calvin Chen wanted to play as well so he invited Yonghwa to have a short play played with him and their episode was about the reunion between a couple who have not seen each other for a very long period oftime. He dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his character and huggedCalvin Chen enthusiastically. But when Calvin said ‘Kiss kiss’ inKorean, Yonghwa immediately jumped aside and exclaimed, ‘I like girls!’ His actions have made the staff laugh their heads off. The whole episode will be broadcast on 18th and 19th of October and please don’t miss it!
CNBLUE will hold a signing event in Ximending Red House at halfpast five on 24/9 (Fri) and the organization party will distribute theturn tickets at half past three on that day. The first 200 fans can gettheir autographs. On 259 (Sat) they will have their showcase at Taiwan University Sports Stadium at half past seven and the leader YongHwawill be flying at a quarter to eight on 26/9 (Sun) on China Airlines,flight number CI 169 and other members will be flying on Korean Air,flight number KE 692 at 1:25pm and put a fullstop at their 5 days 4nights trip in Taiwan.

Q: First impression of Taiwan?
JS: TW is such a good place. My first impression is that it'sclean(neat?). And I'm particularly happy that I come as a member ofCNBLUE.

JH: Just as I expected, the fans are very enthusiastic and happy. And many fans I saw at the airport are very pretty.
Q: When did you first learn to play musical instruments?
YH: I learned to play the piano when I was 6.
Q: How did you feel about CNBLUE's albums getting to top positions of music charts here?
MH: We are foreigners to Taiwanese who are Chinese. I'm so touched that so many people here love our music.
Yonghwa, “I like to wear a lot of rings” (09.24.2010)
In the Korean Drama “You’re Beautiful” where CN Blue‘s leader JungYonghwa played role as ‘Shinwoo(信宇)’ and the other CN Blue members hada presscon yesterday. Yonghwa and SNSD‘s Seohyun are a make believecouple in a reality show. They also bought a couple ring which he didntforget to wear. With that Yonghwa said ” Yes, this is our ring” Yonghwaand Seohyun are in “We Got Married” program that lets them experiencethe life of a newly married couples.
Minhyuk’s aunt is a Taiwanese and visited Taipei 101 last year.
Yesterday, Yonghwa was wearing two rings but the ring on his left handwas suspicious. When asked “What does the rings mean?” He smilinglyanswered “I like to wear a lot of rings” He then asked the reported ”Dont you know what does this mean?” Then showed it and says “This isthe my couple ring with Seohyun. Im scared to lose it so that’s why I’mwearing it”.
Aside from Yonghwa, it wasn’t Minhyuk‘s 1st time to come to Taiwan, butactually it was his 2nd time. He took part in his aunt’s wedding andvisited Taipei 101. There will be fan signing event today. The tomorrowevening is there mini live at NTU sports centre at 7.30PM.
