Not a model tenant! Janice Dickinson 'faces eviction from LA home for failing to pay almost $20,000 in rent'
On the street: Janice Dickinson's landlords want to evict her for failing to pay her rent it has emerged
It seems America's Next Top Model star Janice Dickinson is far from an ideal tenant.
For it has emerged the reality television personality has been served with an eviction notice for allegedly failing to pay almost $20,000 in rent, and subsequently refusing to leave the home.
In court papers the supermodel's landlords claim they are owed for three months of payments for a 3,000 square foot house in west Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the 51-year-old was meant to be paying $5,900-a-month, adding up to a total claim of $17,700.
But if she loses her case she could end up paying even more due to the accumulation of legal fees.
In the L.A. County Superior Court lawsuit papers, the landlords also claim they gave Janice a 3-day notice to pay up or get out on May 7th and she failed to do either.
They are hoping to both kick her out of the house and to get the money back the claim she has failed to pay.
If the allegations are proved to be true it will be a shock, particularly as she claims to be the world's first supermodel.
In addition she will have raked in a small fortune in fees after appearing as a judge on America's Top Model for four seasons from 2003 to 2005.
She has also been busy in recent years, appeared on the celebrity edition of UK dinner-party show Come Dine With Me 2010, in which she formed a bizarre rivalry with former topless model Samantha Fox.
She also appeared in the fourth season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, which premiered in 2010, and guest-starred on an episode of hit TV 90210 titled Project Runway.
Janice is yet to comment on the lawsuit.
