Does the BN government oppress and bully top opposition leaders?
Does the BN government suppress the opportunities for the Chinese to make money and become rich in Malaysia?
What if you are a top Chinese opposition leader and together with your best buddy, Lim Kit Siang, have been whacking govt and saying govt is unfair and oppressive for 30 to 40 years?
What if you are a founding Chairman of DAP and still the current life-time adviser to DAP?
What if you have had multiple brushes with the law and investigated for sedition quite a few times?
Well, if you fit into this category, the govt will reward you with close to RM800 million cash.
This is not a fairy-tale. As unbelievable as it is, this really happened.
This is the story of Dr. Chen Man Hin, one of the founders of DAP and Chairman of DAP for decades until 1999 immediately preceding the late Karpal Singh who has been Chairman until his tragic death.
Chen Man Hin was born in China and was a medical doctor in Seremban GH until he opened his own clinic. He was the DAP ADUN for Rahang in Negeri Sembilan (1965–1969) and DAP MP for Seremban (1969-1999) - a total of 35 years as elected representative from DAP.
His sons are doctors in Singapore.
Together, he and his sons invested in a plantation company in Pontian, Johor known as Pontian Plantations which then grew and grew. Dr Chen and his sons would control 65.6% of this company with Dr Chen as the Chairman and his sons as the directors.
Then one fine day last year, the govt-controlled FELDA offers to buy over Pontian for a cool RM1.204 billion with a generous valuation of PE ratio 30.7 times and 2.9 times the book value.
Dr Chen and family accepts the offer and walks away with RM790 million - courtesy of a Govt company.
Therefore, an oppressed top opposition Chinese DAP leader who has been whacking govt for decades and decades and saying Malaysia is unfair and the Chinese are second, third or fourth class Citizens gets to retire with a massive fortune.
This is proof that Malaysia is a fair country and opportunities abound. Everyone has a fair chance to get fabulously wealthy beyond his or her wildest dreams - regardless of race and regardless of whether you are pro-Govt or anti-Govt.
No doubt about it that Dr Chen and his sons deserve this for smart investing and managing the company well. But you can't say that opportunities were not given by state and Federal govt for them to do so.
This is a fact.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
This is not meant to be a racist article or meant to use this as race-bashing. The fact is that there are still differences in how races are treated in Malaysia but there are more than enough opportunities to make it here and we don't need to fight with one another all the time.
Most people's idea on greed of one race, racism and unfair treatment is really all the work and propaganda of political parties who just wants your vote.
We must open our eyes and see for ourselves how Malaysia is and not believe our politicians constant use of Race and Religion to influence how we think and vote. |

Dan UMNOla antara punca kurangnya patritisma dikalangan apex dan asoi.. apa ke lagi....gigih terus benarkan sekolah jenis kebangsaan. SJKC sapa yg benarkan? UMNO kan?

Benar zeck...
Tiada guna menyalahkan kerajaan memerintah atas sikap kurang ajar diri sendiri... kalaupon secara tiba2 bukan bn yang mentadbir... puak2 ini akan tetiba berubah jadi patriotik dan sopan santunkah? Tidak juga...Nope they wont because patriotism has nothing to do with political belief... but it has everything to do with one's sense of belonging to his country...if you are ashamed to be malaysian... to be called a malaysian... balik tongsan lah pilihan yang lebih baik.... |
