Distance Memorial Services
Shingyo Temple offers distance memorial services for deceased persons, miscarried fetuses, pets, and animals.  It is a great honor and privilege for The Head Priest to perform memorial services selflessly and seriously for deceased persons.  Needless to say, there will be no fee for this service.

While the essence of the memorial services is to show deep respect, affection, and mercy to the souls of deceased persons, there are various ways of thinking about the memorial services.  Some persons think that the memorial service is to lead souls of deceased persons to the nirvana while others think that it is to purify the souls for the final salvation.  Others think the memorial services to remember deceased persons. Every person has different meaning of the service while everybody has deep respect to the deceased persons.

The schedule of the distance memorial service will be 15th day of every month.  It will start at 10:30 p.m. for 30 minutes (Pacific Time).  The Head Priest will chant the Heart Sutra selflessly for the deceased life.
