These are the true Facts about Islam in Japan, not the delusional self-gratifying muslim Obelisk claims which we have seen much too often in this forum;

Only 0.2 % of Japan population or about 70,000 residents are muslims, and even this number 90% of 70,000 are foreigners residents and only paltry 10% or 7,000 of them Japanese. Even this 7,000, most of them convert due to marriage and conversion by faith is almost non existence.
The population of Japan ? 35,000,000 !

Other interesting facts to note about how Japanese perceive Islam;
1. According to Mr. Cumin Yagi, Professor of Arab/Islamic Studies at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, “There is a mind frame in Japan that Islam is a very narrow minded religion and one should stay away from it.”
2. If a Japanese woman marries a Muslim then she is considered an outcast forever.
3. Muslims residing in Japan are the employees of foreign companies.
4. Japan is the only nation that does not give citizenship to Muslims.
5. The Japanese government is of the opinion that Muslims are fundamentalist and even in the era of globalization they are not willing to change their Muslim laws.

An interesting fact to note is that if percentage of muslims in a country reach the level of 56.53% of more, it is considered a Failed State !  

Little wonder why muslim population are so low in developed nation, even there is, it is mainly due to emigration of muslims from war torn muslim countries who craved for democracy and freedom in developed non muslim countries....
