Certainly, we didn't bring it back with the idea of ending it."[94] At the 2016 Television Critics Association panel for the series, Carter stated, "If we do well in the ratings, I can't imagine we wouldn't be asked to do more."[95] Fox Television Group chairman and CEO Gary Newman stated that he and fellow executive Dana Walden would be open to another renewal, stating, "We would love to do this again, so we'd be on board if schedules can be worked out."[96] In an interview with Variety prior to the premiere, Anderson, Duchovny, and Walden stated their willingness for another renewal.[97] In an interview with TV Guide, Carter reaffirmed plans for more episodes, but stressed that everyone involved is waiting on the success of the season.[98]

bagi aku open-ended x-files ni memang dia bagi peluang pada penonton utk 'ending' kan x-files. bagi aku ada beberapa ended yg kemungkinan berlaku

3- ufo tu dtg, sebab nak bunuh skully semacam mana ufo tu bunuh pompuan berdna alien dlm ep. 1 aritu
bg aku, aku pilih no.3, sbb motif geng c.smoking man adalah utk depopulate manusia. so diaorg takkan musnahkan plan diaorg asbab bg skully kelebihan.
