Lazio still regretting 'failure to enlist' two and a half years ago

Some teams are disappointed that Kim Min-jae 27 of Bayern Munich has grown into a "world class" in name and reality. These teams have sought to recruit Kim Min-jae but failed to embrace him. It is particularly regrettable for the teams that sought to recruit Kim before he moved to Europe. A case in point is Lazio in Serie A, Italy.

According to Turkiye SportX on the 27th Korea Standard Time, former sports director Igli Tare Lazio said, "It was a great regret for us that we could not recruit Kim Min-jae two and a half years ago. When he was playing in China, he offered to recruit him, but he was lost to Fenerbahce Turkiye."

Earlier, Kim played for Hyundai in North Jeolla Province and moved to Beijing Guoan, China, before playing for two and a half seasons. As a member of Beijing, Kim displayed good performances in AFC Champions League and other Asian Football Confederation AFC teams to seek to advance to Europe. Not only Fenerbahce but also Serie A Lazio paid attention to Kim Min-jae, who was playing in China at the time. However, Kim's choice was Fenerbahce, not Lazio.

If Kim had headed to Lazio rather than Fenerbahce, he could have gone straight to the European big leagues from China. He played only one season after moving to Fenerbahce and then moved to Naples the following season, which could have made his big league debut a year earlier. Kim Min-jae, however, chose to move to a bigger stage through the European small and medium-sized leagues rather than be greedy to advance to the big leagues.

As a result, Kim Min-jae played well for Fenerbahce before heading to Naples, where he led his team to the top of Serie A in 33 years. In the 2022-23 season, he won the Italian Serie A Most Valuable Player award and became the first Asian player to be nominated for the Ballon d'Or. Eventually, he headed to Bayern Munich, a world-renowned club, in just one season.

As he missed the opportunity to hold Kim Min-jae a year earlier than Napoli, Lazio will have no choice but to regret it over and over again. In particular, Kim Min-jae has grown into a world class enough to play a key role in Bayern Munich, and in the process, he even gave Napoli a transfer fee of 50 million euros about 71.5 billion won, so Lazio's regret is bound to be bigger.  메이저사이트

The same applies to most European teams that had previously paid attention to recruiting Kim Min-jae. FC Port Portugal, Juventus Italy, Manchester United England, etc., which were first mentioned when Kim Min-jae was seeking to advance to Europe while playing in Beijing, were among the teams that had been rumored to be moving to Kim Min-jae. They are also teams that will not differ significantly from Lazio's feelings.
