Stone Age

Early palaeolithic V閞tessz鰈鰏 with pebble tools of Homo heidelbergensis is the oldest archaeological site in Hungary. Mesolithic sites are rare, but start to appear after systematic surveys, especially in the Iazygia (J醩zs醙) area in northern Hungary (J醩zber閚y I). Neolithic settlement starts with the K鰎鰏 culture around 6200 BC. The Middle Neolithic sees the Linearbandkeramic culture in Transdanubia and the Szatmar and Eastern Linear pottery (called Alf鰈d Linear Pottery in Hungary) in the East, developing into 巈liezovce and Szakalhat and B黭k, respectively. The Late Neolithic Tisza culture is followed by the eneolithic Tiszapolg醨 and Bodrogkereszt鷕 cultures.

Iron Age (c. 700 BC - 9 BC)

For the Early Iron Age (700-500 BC), we still have no written sources. Some scholars try to identify people later mentioned in the written sources, Thracians east of the Tisza, and Illyrians (Pannonians) west of the Danube, but this is highly speculative. The Celts came from the west around 450 BC and expanded to whole present-day Hungary in the Late Iron Age. However, the Pannonians (in the southwest) and Thracians did not cease to exist.

In the first half of the 1st century BC, the Dacian king Burebista extended Dacian rule in the Pannonian Plain up to present-day eastern Austria. He was fighting the celtic Boii in southwestern Slovakia and maybe in northern Hungary around 60 BC (after 113 BC, the Celts in northwestern Hungary were possibly the Boii). But the Dacians were stopped by the expansion of the Roman Empire. The Dacians largely ceased in present-day Hungary at the beginng of the 1st century AD, the Celts gradually later on.

hmm...it's remind me of ada penduduk kt satu area di China nih bermata biru serta rambut blonde...rerupanya diorg ada european heritage...so mmg betul laa mostly byk bangsa2 besar yg g berperang might leave their "seed" to place where they stop by...:re:

The ‘ Picts’ War ’ saw devastating attacks on Hadrian’s Wall. Marcellinus tells us the Picts were ‘roving at large and causing great devastation’. The Romans had to send Theodosius the Elder and a group of Roman regiments to restore order. Theodosius restored the Roman cities and garrison towns, and reinforced the frontier.
