APM2009: Kawalan Ketat Demi Keselamatan
JAKARTA, 17 JULAI 2009: Beberapa minit sebelum rombongan media Malaysia menaiki pesawat ke Jakarta bagi membuat liputan Anugerah Planet Muzik 2009(APM2009), Indonesia dikejutkan dengan berita pengeboman yang berlakudi Hotel JW Marriot dan Ritz-Carlton pada jam 9.40 waktu tempatan.
Rombonganyang terdiri daripada wartawan dan jurugambar seramai 16 orangbagaimanapun selamat tiba di Lapangan Terbang Soekarno-Hatta, Jakarta,jam 11.50 pagi sebelum sampai ke tempat penginapan iaitu The SultanHotel yang hanya beberapa kilometer daripada lokasi kejadian.
Dato' Siti Nurhaliza yang sampai lebih awal turut menginap di hotel yang sama dengan delegasi Malaysia. Semua artis yang terlibat tiba semalam kecuali Faizal Tahir yang dijangka bertolak pada malam ini.
Walaupun keadaan di bandaraya ini ternyata menyulitkan, APMkali ke-9 ini dijangka tetap akan diteruskan mengikut jadual. Menurutsumber daripada kalangan bahagian keselamatan, kira-kira 2,000 pegawaiterdiri daripada polis dan petugas khas telah bersiap sedia bagimengawal sekeliling bangunan Pusat Konvensyen Jakarta (JCC) supayamalam kemuncak berjalan lancar.
Malah setiap individu yangmemasuki dewan tersebut atau bangunan hotel dikehendaki melaluisaringan khas untuk mengesan kewujudan sebarang bahan letupan atausenjata api.
Kira-kira pada jam 4 petang tadi, sebilanganbesar artis yang bakal persembahan termasuk Aizat, Ayu, Siti Nurhaliza,Dafi dan Reshmonu, giat membuat latihan akhir bersama-sama pemuzikorkestra. Pengurus Saluran Astro Ria, Khairul Mizan Shagul yang turutmuncul di dewan tersebut sempat menasihatkan rombongan Malaysia agarlebih berwaspada sepanjang berada di republik ini.
Terdahulu,semua ahli delegasi turut tidak terlepas mengenakan topeng terutama dilapangan terbang dan di dalam pesawat sebagai langkah berhati-hatiterhadap virus Influenza A (H1N1). Cabaran sebelum berlangsung APM2009tetap dirasai apatah lagi selepas kejadian yang meragut 9 nyawa danmencederakan 50 orang itu berlaku.
Pada malam pula ini, artis dari ketiga-tiga negara iaitu Malaysia, Indonesia dan Singapura akan menjalani raptai penuh.
Bagaimanpun,difahamkan, sebahagian lagi rombongan para media yang dijadual bertolakesok telah membatalkan perjalanan ke Jakarta kerana tidak mahumenanggung risiko.
Indonesia yang barusahaja menjalani proses pilihan raya baru-baru ini, melihat kejadianpengeboman itu sebagai satu ujian berat terhadap kerajaan pimpinanPresiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono serta seluruh rakyat Indonesia.Stesen Metro TV Indonesia juga ada menyiarkan ucapan Presiden yangmengutuk sekeras-kerasnya pihak yang bertanggungjawab ke atas kejadiantersebut. |

APM & Jakarta Bombings

Wewere shocked when we turned on the news this morning only to find outabout the bombings in Jakarta. Thoughts ran wild especially when it isthe weekend of Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM) in Jakarta.
G! Juice finds out about the distance,if JW Marriott & Ritz Carlton (where the bombings were) areanywhere near the Jakarta Convention Centre or the hotel where theartistes are staying at. Here’s the map (courtesy of Google Maps) toshow you the distance.
On the map, A is Jakarta ConventionCentre while C is the hotel where the artistes are staying. The bombingsite is situated on the far bottom-right of the map.
Latest news on ESPN Soccernet,Manchester United Football Club has cancelled their game in Jakartaafter the reported bombings. Will APM do the same or things will run asscheduled? However, when contacted, Hady Mirza said that the peoplefrom APM are not affected by the bombings, and that they were allsleeping in their hotel rooms when it happened.

FAIZAL TAHIR
Runner up of the first season of ‘One in a Million’. This
singer-songwriter is also a television personality and hosted two seasons of reality talent show ‘Gangstarz’. His debut album was released in 2007. Won APM’s ‘Most
Popular Male Artiste’in 2008.
AYU
Norayu Damit, or Ayu, is the winner of the second season
of Malaysia’s reality show/singing competition
‘One in a Million’. She has yet to release a full album and is famous for her coronation
song ‘Hanya Di Mercu’.

firstalbum in 1998 and her most recent fourth album in 2009 entitled ‘Star’.She also won the Most Favorite Female Host for 5 consecutive years from1999-2003.
AFGAN
Indonesia’s current most popular personality, Afgan launched his debut album ‘Confession No. 1’ in 2008.
His songs and his soulful
voice captured the hearts of many and he went on to win Most Popular Male Artist and Artist of the Year in the MTV Indonesia Award show. |
