Yesterday marked the one-year countdown to replica watches the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, which will begin on July 24 next year. Omega, the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, has begun the countdown. To celebrate, the brand presents two new Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition replica watches: the Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition and the Seamaster Planet Ocean Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition. In honor of this year's Games, each of the new replica watches will be built in a limited edition of 2,020 pieces. Omega has been the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games 28 times since 1932. It has developed a complex system of timing equipment, instant photography and much more.

I've actually had the distinct pleasure of touring behind the scenes during the London Olympics and was incredibly impressed with the cutting-edge technology the brand is using in its official role. I look forward to witnessing what new developments the brand will unveil in time for the 2020 Games, and will definitely keep my readers updated. In the meantime, here's the skinny on the newest celebrity replica watches. The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition watch is the first in the collection with a ceramic dial. That's right, a ceramic dial, not a bezel. The the blue ceramic dial has a highly polished finish and an alluring pattern on it and is laser engraved with the emblem of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

The 41mm stainless steel case features a replica omega sapphire crystal and case to display the Master Chronometer Caliber 8900. The watch is anti-magnetic and comes with a blue rubber strap and a steel bracelet. The Aqua Terra retails for $6,300. Seamaster Planet Ocean Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition Watch a 39.5mm steel case with a ceramic bezel and a diving scale made with Omega's proprietary Liquidmetal(TM).The numeral 20 (as in 2020) is filled with red liquid ceramic. The polished white ceramic dial also underlines the Tokyo theme with a central seconds hand that is tipped with a lacquered red dot to pay tribute to the Japanese flag. This watch is powered by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Caliber 8800 and features a sapphire crystal case with a transferred Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games emblem. It is also sold with several straps: a white leather strap, a stainless steel bracelet and a NATO strap. It retails for $7,450.
